“Queremos promover el “APEC Ciudadano Ucayali” de junio a agosto, mediante actividades culturales, académicas, talleres, ferias, charlas, capacitaciones, exposiciones, en las que impulsaremos la participación de expertos, empresarios, funcionarios gubernamentales, líderes y representantes de la sociedad civil, incluidos estudiantes y jóvenes, con especial énfasis en la participación de las mujeres”, sostuvo González.

Precisó que, tras el fin de estas actividades, se realizará la Semana de PYMEs de APEC (9-13 setiembre) en Pucallpa, que pondrá en vitrina a toda la región Ucayali y sus potencialidades económicas.

Dicha semana se desarrollará paralelamente a la Reunión Ministerial de Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (SMEMM por sus siglas en inglés) de APEC que será llevada a cabo también en Pucallpa.

“Esperamos recibir a cerca de 100 delegados y autoridades de las economías de APEC, para discutir sobre estrategias y políticas que promuevan el crecimiento competitivo e inclusivo de las MIPYMES en la región Asia-Pacífico, dinamización de la innovación y tecnología, integración a las cadenas de valor y fortalecimiento del rol de la mujer”, dijo el ministro.

Por su parte, el gerente general del Gobierno Regional de Ucayali, Luis Vela, aseguró que se pondrá especial énfasis en la participación, desarrollo y apoyo a las PYMEs regionales durante la reunión ministerial.

El lanzamiento de APEC Ciudadano Ucayali 2024, que fue organizado por el Gobierno Regional de Ucayali en coordinación y con el apoyo de la Oficina Desconcentrada del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores con sede en la ciudad de Pucallpa, fue llevado a cabo el 20 de junio en el Auditorio del Hotel Casa Andina.

Entre las actividades del “APEC Ciudadano Ucayali” previo a la Semana de las PYMEs, se encuentran los talleres de capacitación “Fortalece tu Mercado”, del Programa Nacional Tu Empresa, en los que se brindó capacitación sobre formalización, digitalización, financiamiento, gestión empresarial y desarrollo productivo, con el objetivo de fortalecer las capacidades de los comerciantes de los mercados de abastos de la región.

En agosto se prevé realizar un “taller de factoring”, en el que se brindará capacitación a empresarios de más de 50 MYPEs sobre el uso de mecanismos de factoring, herramienta financiera efectiva para mejorar la gestión del flujo de efectivo, abordando las ventajas de la selección de proveedores y la mejora en la gestión de cuentas por cobrar.

Del 10 al 24 de agosto se llevará a cabo el “Reto Perú TEC: Desafíos para la competitividad – Ucayali”, un concurso con el propósito de promover la participación de 300 jóvenes estudiantes de universidades e institutos de Ucayali y a nivel nacional.

El 16 agosto se desarrollará el seminario “Manejo Maderero Forestal Sostenible” que busca promover el diálogo y la evaluación de las oportunidades en la cadena de valor forestal y maderera de la región Ucayali.

The launch of APEC Ciudadano Ucayali 2024, which was organized by the Regional Government of Ucayali in coordination and with the support of the Decentralized Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based in the city of Pucallpa, was carried out on June 20 at the Auditorium of the Casa Andina Hotel.

Among the activities of the “APEC Ciudadano Ucayali” prior to the SME Week, are the training workshops “Strengthen your Market”, of the National Your Company Program, in which training was provided on formalization, digitalization, financing, business management and productive development, with the aim of strengthening the capacities of merchants in the region’s supply markets.

In August, a “factoring workshop” is planned, in which training will be provided to entrepreneurs of more than 50 MYPEs on the use of factoring mechanisms, an effective financial tool to improve cash flow management, addressing the advantages of supplier selection and improvement in accounts receivable management.

From August 10 to 24, the “Peru TEC Challenge: Challenges for competitiveness – Ucayali” will be held, a contest with the purpose of promoting the participation of 300 young students from universities and institutes in Ucayali and nationwide.

On August 16, the seminar “Sustainable Forest Timber Management” will be held, which seeks to promote dialogue and evaluation of opportunities in the forestry and timber value chain of the Ucayali region.
