De otro lado es importante resaltar que el Tercer Juzgado Colegiado de la Corte Superior Nacional concluyó que Humala aceptó fondos de origen ilícito de Venezuela y de Odebrecht para financiar sus campañas electorales de 2006 y 2011.

Hay que considerar que la pena requerida por la Fiscalía de la Nación era 20 años de cárcel para él y 26 y seis meses para la esposa de Ollanta Humala, Nadine Heredia.

Así mismo al l cierre de la presente nota a conseguido que el gobierno de la República Federativa del Brasil le conceda asilo diplomático.

En una nota difundida por la Cancillería peruana esta noche se informó que la Embajada de la República Federativa del Brasil en el Perú ha comunicado que, en aplicación de la Convención sobre Asilo Diplomático de 1954, de la que ambos Estados son parte, ha decidido otorgar asilo diplomático a la señora Nadine Heredia Alarcón y a su menor hijo Samin Mallko Ollanta Humala Heredia.
