Esta significativa victoria para el Ministro Pérez-Reyes Espejo se obtuvo tras una ardua gestión ante la Comisión de Presupuesto y Cuenta General de la República, presidida por la congresista Lady Camones Soriano.

La aprobación, con 20 votos a favor, 5 en contra y 3 abstenciones, refleja el respaldo a la estrategia planteada por Pérez-Reyes Espejo para abordar necesidades urgentes en diferentes sectores.

Pérez-Reyes Espejo defendió la propuesta como una medida “austera” pero crucial, justificada por los ingresos fiscales proyectados y alineada con la meta fiscal del 2.2%. 1.- SEGURIDAD CIUDADANA (S/ 140.3 MILLONES)
Bajo la dirección del Ministro, esta significativa inversión se destinará a fortalecer la lucha contra la delincuencia y el crimen organizado, mejorando la seguridad de la ciudadanía.

2.- DESARROLLO SOCIAL (S/ 33.8 MILLONES)
Impulsado por la visión del Ministro, se garantizará el pago por orfandad a niños y adolescentes que perdieron a sus padres durante la pandemia del COVID-19 u otras circunstancias, demostrando un compromiso con los más vulnerables.

3.- INFRAESTRUCTURA Y DESARROLLO REGIONAL (S/ 468.5 MILLONES)
La gestión del Ministro Pérez-Reyes Espejo ha asegurado esta importante inversión en gobiernos regionales y locales para financiar proyectos de inversión cruciales. Se espera la construcción y renovación de 962 puentes, mejoras en sistemas de agua y alcantarillado, vías de comunicación y desarrollo urbano, así como mejoras en instituciones educativas y establecimientos de salud. Esta partida incluye transferencias a diversos ministerios y entidades, bajo la supervisión del Ministro.
