Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe En un momento en que el país necesita más que nunca reencontrarse con los valores de la unidad, el respeto y la convivencia, el próximo martes 22 de julio a las 7:30 p. m. se celebrará la quinta edición de “Oramos por el Perú”, la ceremonia interreligiosa organizada por el Consejo Interreligioso del Perú – Religiones por la Paz, con motivo de las celebraciones por Fiestas Patrias.

La actividad se realizará en el Centro de Conferencias Limatambo de San Isidro, y congregará a líderes de 14 confesiones religiosas con presencia en el país, quienes se unirán para elevar una oración por la paz, el bienestar colectivo y el futuro del Perú.

El evento tiene el propósito de enviar un mensaje de paz y armonía, demostrando que las razones de unidad siempre serán más fuertes que las diferencias. Por ello, se reunirán los líderes de las iglesias con presencia en el país junto a las más altas autoridades nacionales y representantes del cuerpo diplomático acreditado en el Perú. El evento contará también con la presencia de la máxima autoridad política del país, la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte Zegarra.

Bajo el lema “La Paz, una responsabilidad de todos”, esta edición busca subrayar el compromiso de todos frente a los desafíos sociales que vive el país. Participarán representantes de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, la Iglesia Católica, la Comunidad Judía del Perú, la Iglesia Anglicana, la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, la Comunidad Islámica, la Iglesia Metodista, la Iglesia Presbiteriana, la Comunidad Bahá’í, la Comunidad Budista Soto Zen, así como comunidades evangélicas e indígenas, entre otras.

En distintos momentos de la noche se presentará la Coral Interreligiosa del Perú, agrupación conformada por miembros de diversas confesiones religiosas, que ofrecerá interpretaciones corales como símbolo del espíritu de unidad y armonía que anima este encuentro.

El evento será transmitido a nivel nacional por la señal de TV Perú, y también se podrá seguir en vivo a través del Facebook oficial de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días (@iglesiadejesucristosano), permitiendo que ciudadanos en todas las regiones se unan a esta jornada de reflexión y fe.

“Oramos por el Perú” se ha consolidado como un espacio de encuentro espiritual, reafirmando que más allá de las diferencias doctrinales, las comunidades de fe pueden construir juntas un mensaje de esperanza, diálogo y compromiso con el país.

The event will take place at the Limatambo Conference Center in San Isidro and will bring together leaders from 14 religious denominations present in the country, who will join together to offer a prayer for peace, collective well-being, and the future of Peru.

The event aims to send a message of peace and harmony, demonstrating that unity will always be stronger than differences. Therefore, leaders of churches present in the country will meet with the highest national authorities and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Peru. The event will also be attended by the country’s highest political authority, the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra.

Under the motto “Peace, a responsibility of all,” this edition seeks to highlight everyone’s commitment to addressing the social challenges facing the country. Representatives from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Catholic Church, the Jewish Community of Peru, the Anglican Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Islamic Community, the Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church, the Bahá’í Community, the Soto Zen Buddhist Community, as well as evangelical and indigenous communities, among others, will participate.

At various times throughout the evening, the Interreligious Choir of Peru will perform, a group made up of members of various religious denominations, offering choral performances as a symbol of the spirit of unity and harmony that inspires this gathering.

The event will be broadcast nationally on TV Perú and can also be followed live on the official Facebook page of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (@iglesiadejesucristosano), allowing citizens in all regions to join in this day of reflection and faith.

“We Pray for Peru” has established itself as a space for spiritual encounter, reaffirming that beyond doctrinal differences, faith communities can together build a message of hope, dialogue, and commitment to the country.
