“Invertir en educación representa la apuesta más valiosa para el futuro”, señaló la mandataria durante la ceremonia inaugural, esta moderna infraestructura cuenta con 28 aulas y fue construida en un tiempo récord de 11 meses, desde abril de 2024 hasta mayo de 2025.
Con esta obra, San Martín de Porres suma dos Escuelas Bicentenario, con una inversión total que supera los S/ 119 millones. Más de 2,651 estudiantes se beneficiarán de ambientes seguros, accesibles y equipados con tecnología de punta.
“A diferencia de gestiones anteriores, donde las obras se prolongaban innecesariamente, nuestro gobierno actúa con celeridad y responsabilidad, atendiendo las necesidades urgentes de la población”, enfatizó meridianamente la jefa de Estado.
Asimismo, recordó que el Gobierno impulsa la construcción y puesta en marcha de más colegios bicentenario en todo el país, con el objetivo de subsanar deficiencias históricas en infraestructura educativa, en ese orden de ideas indicó que se prevé la entrega de 34 escuelas adicionales para diciembre del presente año, cumpliendo así el compromiso de alcanzar un total de 75 Escuelas Bicentenario, que beneficiarán a más de 119,000 estudiantes y 5,100 docentes en Lima Metropolitana y 9 regiones del país.
A la fecha, 41 Escuelas Bicentenario se encuentran operativas en diversos distritos de Lima y regiones como Junín, Ucayali y el Callao, beneficiando a 62,000 estudiantes con una inversión superior a los S/ 3,000 millones; por eso nuestro objetivo es erradicar las condiciones precarias en las que muchos estudiantes reciben clases, ofreciendo aulas dignas, seguras y equipadas que fomenten la inspiración y el desarrollo integral, afirmó prístinamente la mandataria de la gran nación Inca.
MEMORÁNDUM DE ENTENDIMIENTO CON EL REINO UNIDO
En el marco de la inauguración, se formalizó un “Memorándum de Entendimiento” entre Perú y el Reino Unido, con el propósito de fortalecer la enseñanza del idioma inglés, la formación docente, la educación superior y las oportunidades de estudio en el Reino Unido.
Este acuerdo beneficiará a estudiantes, docentes y directivos de educación básica y superior, quienes tendrán acceso a certificaciones, intercambio de modelos piloto de aprendizaje, educación bilingüe y programas de formación especializada, entre otros.
ESTABILIDAD ECONÓMICA DEL PERÚ
La jefa de Estado Dina Boluarte Zegarra, destacó que estas inversiones son posibles gracias a la estabilidad económica del país. “A pesar de los desafíos globales, el Perú mantiene una economía sólida y responsable, lo que nos permite asignar recursos significativos a sectores prioritarios como educación, salud e infraestructura”, señaló.
Enfatizó que el déficit fiscal se mantuvo en 2.6% del PBI en julio, por tercer mes consecutivo. Además, la economía peruana creció un 4.5% en junio, acumulando 15 meses consecutivos de expansión.
“Estos resultados confirman la efectividad de nuestras políticas y el cumplimiento de nuestros compromisos. En 2024 nos propusimos la recuperación económica, y en 2025, la consolidación económica, objetivos que estamos alcanzando”, concluyó.

As part of the inauguration, a Memorandum of Understanding was formalized between Peru and the United Kingdom, with the aim of strengthening English language teaching, teacher training, higher education, and study opportunities in the United Kingdom.
This agreement will benefit students, teachers, and administrators of basic and higher education, who will have access to certifications, the exchange of pilot learning models, bilingual education, and specialized training programs, among other things.
PERU’S ECONOMIC STABILITY
Head of State Dina Boluarte Zegarra emphasized that these investments are possible thanks to the country’s economic stability. “Despite global challenges, Peru maintains a solid and responsible economy, which allows us to allocate significant resources to priority sectors such as education, health, and infrastructure,” she noted.
She emphasized that the fiscal deficit remained at 2.6% of GDP in July, for the third consecutive month. Furthermore, the Peruvian economy grew 4.5% in June, accumulating 15 consecutive months of expansion.
“These results confirm the effectiveness of our policies and the fulfillment of our commitments. In 2024, we aimed for economic recovery, and in 2025, economic consolidation, goals that we are achieving,” she concluded.
