“Aquí existe una mente criminal que organiza a las personas, les proporciona artefactos e insumos y, en su momento, los dispara contra la policía. Esto es organización criminal que tiene demandas distintas a las que son objeto de la convocatoria”, declaró enfáticamente el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial. Esta afirmación subraya la preocupación del gobierno ante la sofisticación y coordinación de los ataques.

Arana detalló que las agresiones no se limitaron al uso de fuegos artificiales, sino que incluyeron el empleo de tecnopor y sustancias adhesivas diseñadas para adherirse al cuerpo, infligiendo quemaduras graves a los agentes del orden. “No estamos hablando de manifestantes que reaccionan ante una presión. Deben ser sometidos al imperio de la ley como parte de una organización criminal”, enfatizó, señalando la premeditación y el carácter organizado de los actos violentos.

El premier también hizo un llamado a la juventud, instándolos a no dejarse manipular por estos grupos criminales. “Inmediatamente deberían advertir al fiscal o al policía que hay violentistas infiltrándose en la protesta”, indicó, buscando fomentar la colaboración ciudadana en la identificación y denuncia de infiltrados violentos.

Reafirmando el compromiso del gobierno con la seguridad ciudadana, Arana enfatizó que la tarea primordial de la PNP es proteger a los ciudadanos y los bienes públicos y privados, rechazando categóricamente cualquier insinuación de una directiva desde el Ejecutivo o la Policía para agredir a la población.

APOYO DECISIVO A TRANSPORTISTAS FRENTE A LA EXTORSIÓN

En un esfuerzo por contrarrestar la creciente ola de extorsiones que afecta a los transportistas, el jefe de Gabinete anunció la aprobación por parte del Consejo de Ministros de un presupuesto de 40 millones de soles. Este fondo está destinado a fortalecer la protección de los transportistas y a la implementación de sistemas de cámaras de seguridad en áreas críticas.

“Como se ha visto, la Policía Nacional ha dispuesto acciones directas durante toda la semana contra los casos de extorsión, y estas se vienen incrementando”, subrayó Arana, destacando la respuesta proactiva de las fuerzas del orden. En un gesto de solidaridad, reiteró el apoyo incondicional del Ejecutivo a los transportistas y sus familias, quienes han sido víctimas de la delincuencia.

FORTALECIMIENTO DE LA PRESENCIA ESTATAL EN LAS FRONTERAS

En otro frente, el premier Arana anunció la inminente instalación de una torre de control en la ciudad de Caballococha, provincia de Ramón Castilla, Loreto. Esta infraestructura estratégica permitirá reforzar la vigilancia aérea en la zona limítrofe con Colombia, crucial para combatir actividades ilícitas transfronterizas.

“Debido a su peso, la nueva torre será trasladada por partes y permitirá controlar los aviones que entran y salen en la zona de Santa Rosa y otros espacios fronterizos”, detalló Arana, subrayando la importancia de esta inversión en la seguridad fronteriza.

Adicionalmente, recordó que el pasado sábado lideró, junto a ministros de Estado, la instalación de la Comisión Multisectorial para la Pacificación y el Desarrollo Integral de Putumayo, con la participación activa de autoridades locales y la sociedad civil. Esta comisión tiene como objetivo abordar de manera integral los desafíos que enfrenta la frontera, impulsando avances sectoriales como la implementación de aulas digitales, la reactivación de las plataformas itinerantes de acción social (PIAS) y proyectos de electrificación rural que superan los 40 millones de soles, beneficiando a más de 100 comunidades.
