Estamos trabajando incansablemente”, declaró la mandataria, instando a los transportistas a reflexionar y unirse: “Sumemos esfuerzos para vencer esta lacra que genera inseguridad ciudadana. Los vamos a capturar, no nos ganarán esta batalla y, al final, el Perú celebrará la victoria”.

En este contexto, entre abril y octubre de 2025, se superó el objetivo de bloquear progresivamente los celulares no registrados en la lista blanca del Renteseg y con historial de uso indebido, alcanzando la cifra de 1 millón 594 mil 959 equipos bloqueados. La presidenta Boluarte destacó esta iniciativa como resultado del trabajo coordinado entre instituciones estatales como Osiptel, el Ministerio del Interior y las empresas operadoras privadas.

La jefa de Estado aconsejó a la ciudadanía no responder mensajes ni llamadas de números desconocidos que sean amenazantes o extorsionadores, ni a aquellos que ofrezcan supuestas remesas. En tales casos, recomendó informar de inmediato a la Policía Nacional para la investigación correspondiente.

Tras recordar el reciente nombramiento de un nuevo comandante general de la Policía, la presidenta resaltó la captura de varios delincuentes en los últimos días y aseguró que la persecución de extorsionadores continuará.

Además, informó que los detenidos son puestos a disposición de las autoridades judiciales competentes para ser juzgados y cumplir sus condenas en prisión. En este sentido, mencionó que se están construyendo cinco nuevos penales a nivel nacional como parte de un esfuerzo integral por la seguridad ciudadana. “No les tenemos miedo a los delincuentes. Estamos firmes y vamos tras ellos”, enfatizó la jefa de Estado.

En la ceremonia, la presidenta Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra estuvo acompañada por el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Eduardo Arana; los ministros del Interior, Carlos Malaver, y de Defensa, Walter Astudillo; y el presidente ejecutivo (e) de Osiptel, Jesús Guillén.
