Perú ha abogado por medidas que incentiven la transición a la economía formal, buscando que se recuerde al país por haber impulsado este tema dentro de APEC.

- Liderazgo Regional: Perú se convertirá en el primer miembro en presidir APEC por cuarta vez, tras las ediciones de 2008, 2016 y 2024.
- Agenda Innovadora: En 2024, Perú incorporó temas innovadores en la agenda de APEC, como la formalización económica, el hidrógeno de bajas emisiones, y la prevención del desperdicio de alimentos.
- Hoja de Ruta de Lima: Perú lideró en APEC Corea la lucha contra la informalidad, con la aprobación del Plan de Implementación de la Hoja de Ruta de Lima.
PRIORIDADES DE APEC 2025
Bajo el tema “Construyendo un Mañana Sostenible”, APEC 2025 se enfoca en tres prioridades clave:

2.- Innovar: Aprovechar la digitalización y la inteligencia artificial para el crecimiento económico.
