“Actuaremos con determinación y sin concesiones contra aquellos que desafíen la ley. Nuestra respuesta será contundente, siempre en estricto apego a la Constitución, las leyes y el respeto irrestricto a los derechos humanos. No permitiremos que nos intimiden, no descansaremos hasta lograr su derrota”, enfatizó el presidente Jerí.

Ante las más altas autoridades militares y policiales, el jefe de Estado instó a la conformación de un frente único, imbuido de disciplina, inteligencia estratégica, patriotismo inquebrantable y lealtad institucional, con el objetivo primordial de restaurar la paz y la seguridad que el pueblo peruano anhela. Asimismo, hizo un llamado a recuperar la confianza ciudadana en las instituciones del Estado.

“Convoco a todos los peruanos a unirse en un propósito común, no como un simple acto político, sino como un imperativo moral con nuestra historia y nuestro futuro. La unidad no implica necesariamente uniformidad de pensamiento, sino la capacidad de transformar nuestras divergencias en fortalezas que impulsen el progreso de nuestra nación y el bienestar colectivo”, añadió el mandatario.

El presidente Jerí subrayó que asume la conducción del país con plena conciencia de la responsabilidad que ello implica y con un liderazgo firme, inspirándose en el legado de héroes nacionales como Francisco Bolognesi, Miguel Grau, José Abelardo Quiñones y Mariano Santos.

“Estos insignes peruanos nos legaron un valioso ejemplo: el honor es un valor irrenunciable, la vida se ofrenda por la patria y la nación siempre debe prevalecer sobre cualquier interés particular”, resaltó, reafirmando su compromiso de defender la soberanía nacional con valentía, coraje y lealtad, y de servir al Perú con integridad hasta el término de su mandato.

El presidente Jerí también destacó el papel fundamental que las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional han desempeñado a lo largo de la historia del país, especialmente en momentos críticos como la lucha contra el terrorismo, el combate al narcotráfico, la defensa de las fronteras y las operaciones en el Vraem.

“Gracias al sacrificio y la entrega de ustedes, hoy seguimos siendo una república y vivimos en un sistema democrático”, reconoció el mandatario, exhortándolos a redoblar sus esfuerzos ante los desafíos actuales. “La seguridad es la piedra angular del progreso y el Estado no puede tolerar que el miedo se apodere de nuestras calles”, sentenció.
