La decisión, que busca consolidar los avances logrados en las últimas semanas, fue comunicada durante la inauguración del Puesto Comando Temporal del Callao, ubicado estratégicamente en la avenida Sáenz Peña, cerca del bullicioso Mercado Central.

“Estamos en el día 26 del estado de emergencia en Lima y el Callao, y los resultados son evidentes. Por lo tanto, el estado de emergencia continuará”, afirmó el mandatario con firmeza, subrayando la necesidad de mantener las medidas implementadas para proteger a la ciudadanía. Jerí destacó que, al inicio de su gestión, las cifras de criminalidad presentaban una tendencia alarmante al alza. Sin embargo, gracias a la implementación del estado de emergencia y a las acciones coordinadas entre diversas instituciones, se ha logrado controlar este crecimiento. “Cuando encontramos las cifras, estas iban en aumento. Ahora, hemos controlado el crecimiento de la delincuencia y la criminalidad. El siguiente paso es disminuirla”, enfatizó.

El presidente resaltó la importancia de la colaboración entre los alcaldes, el Congreso, el Poder Ejecutivo y el Estado en su conjunto, señalando que estos esfuerzos coordinados son fundamentales para el éxito de la estrategia de seguridad. “Actuar en sintonía no es sencillo. Cada institución suele trabajar de forma independiente, pero ahora estamos avanzando en unidad. Aunque aún no hemos alcanzado nuestro mejor nivel, vamos a consolidar un verdadero trabajo articulado”, remarcó Jerí, haciendo hincapié en la necesidad de mantener la cohesión y el compromiso de todas las partes involucradas.

Durante su visita al nuevo centro de articulación, el jefe de Estado supervisó las operaciones de patrullaje en la jurisdicción y evaluó el funcionamiento del sistema de videovigilancia y radiocomunicación, que conecta al Serenazgo con la Policía Nacional. Asimismo, verificó la operatividad de los vehículos utilizados por las fuerzas combinadas, garantizando una presencia constante y una capacidad de respuesta inmediata ante cualquier incidente.

El Puesto Comando Temporal tiene como objetivo principal coordinar patrullajes, operativos y puntos de control en tiempo real, actuando como un nodo de coordinación interinstitucional entre la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP), las Fuerzas Armadas (FF. AA.) y el Serenazgo. Además, facilitará la toma rápida de decisiones operativas, optimizará los recursos humanos, logísticos y tecnológicos, y mantendrá una presencia disuasiva permanente con unidades de las fuerzas integradas.

“Este puesto temporal de articulación tiene como objetivo funcionar como un centro de comando que integre los esfuerzos de todas las fuerzas del orden y brinde tranquilidad a la población. Más aún ahora, cuando estamos próximos a las fiestas de fin de año, los peruanos merecen vivir con mayor seguridad, no solo aquí, sino en todo el país”, concluyó el mandatario, reafirmando su compromiso con la seguridad y el bienestar de todos los ciudadanos.

The Temporary Command Post’s main objective is to coordinate patrols, operations, and checkpoints in real time, acting as an inter-institutional coordination hub between the Peruvian National Police (PNP), the Armed Forces (FF. AA.), and the Municipal Security Force (Serenazgo). It will also facilitate rapid operational decision-making, optimize human, logistical, and technological resources, and maintain a permanent deterrent presence with integrated force units.

“This temporary coordination post aims to function as a command center that integrates the efforts of all law enforcement agencies and provides peace of mind to the population. Now more than ever, as we approach the end-of-year holidays, Peruvians deserve to live with greater security, not only here, but throughout the entire country,” the president concluded, reaffirming his commitment to the safety and well-being of all citizens.
