En una comunicación oficial, el presidente de la institución, José de la Puente Brunke, destacó la labor realizada por el autor en pro de la difusión del conocimiento histórico del país.

Los textos enviados han sido revisados por el máximo representante de la Academia, quien valoró positivamente el aporte de las obras, así como la página web del escritor dedicada a la divulgación de hechos históricos significativos que, en su mayoría, son desconocidos para el público en general.

Entre las obras recibidas, se destaca Historias ocultas. 200 hechos que no conoces del Perú, descrita como una valiosa recopilación cronológica de sucesos ocurridos desde 1533 hasta 2021. El presidente de la Academia enfatizó que la formación periodística del autor ha permitido presentar la información de manera atractiva, poniendo de relieve la trascendencia de múltiples sucesos que no han sido suficientemente considerados por otros autores.

La institución reitera su compromiso con la difusión de la historia entre el público en general y el fomento de la enseñanza de esta disciplina en todos los niveles educativos.

PATRIMONIO LITERARIO DEL PARLAMENTO ANDINO ES DOMINADO EL LIBRO ADN PERÚ.

Como se recuerda hace días se planteó la iniciativa de reconocer como Patrimonio Literario del Parlamento Andino a la obra de investigación histórica ADN PERÚ tuvo lugar durante la sesión realizada y dirigida el 6 de enero de 2026 por el presidente de dicho parlamento, Gustavo Pacheco Villar, quien consideró que ese libro de casi 600 páginas, del periodista y escritor Ítalo Sifuentes Alemán, presenta reveladores hechos documentados que, en sí mismos, representan un significativo aporte para el conocimiento e integración cultural de los pueblos andinos.

El parlamentario andino Gustavo Pacheco Villar manifestó que la obra ADN PERÚ constituye un testimonio fundamental para la conservación de la memoria colectiva y de la identidad nacional al evidenciar, a través de sus páginas, la continuidad de las tradiciones culturales del país desde tiempos ancestrales hasta la actualidad.

Legisladores de Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador y Perú forman parte del Parlamento Andino, entre cuyos objetivos se encuentra el fortalecimiento de la integración entre sus respectivas autoridades y poblaciones, así como con otros parlamentos del mundo.

El libro ADN PERÚ, el 30 de noviembre de 2025, ganó el Premio del Jurado de los Gourmand Award, y desde los últimos meses por su valioso contenido se encuentra como libro de consulta en diversas bibliotecas universitarias, entre las cuales se encuentran las prestigiosas Harvard y Yale, cuyos alumnos de pregrado y posgrado acceden a este libro peruano elaborado durante más de diez años de trabajo de investigación, en diversos archivos nacionales e internacionales, realizado por dicho autor peruano.

Among the works received, Hidden Histories: 200 Facts You Don’t Know About Peru stands out, described as a valuable chronological compilation of events that occurred from 1533 to 2021. The president of the Academy emphasized that the author’s journalistic background has allowed him to present the information in an engaging way, highlighting the significance of numerous events that have not been sufficiently considered by other authors.

The institution reiterates its commitment to disseminating history among the general public and promoting the teaching of this discipline at all educational levels.

The book DNA Peru is nos part of the Andean Parliament’s literary heritage.

As you may recall, the initiative to recognize the historical research work ADN PERÚ as Literary Heritage of the Andean Parliament was proposed a few days ago during the session held and chaired on January 6, 2026, by the president of said parliament, Gustavo Pacheco Villar. He considered that this nearly 600-page book by journalist and writer Ítalo Sifuentes Alemán presents revealing documented facts that, in themselves, represent a significant contribution to the knowledge and cultural integration of the Andean peoples.

The book ADN PERÚ (Peruvian DNA) won the Gourmand Award Jury Prize on November 30, 2025, and in recent months, due to its valuable content, it has been used as a reference book in various university libraries, including the prestigious Harvard and Yale. Undergraduate and graduate students at these institutions have access to this Peruvian book, the result of over ten years of research conducted by the author in various national and international archives.
