“Esta visita de Estado es una oportunidad invaluable para reforzar la cada vez más importante relación de amistad que existe entre nuestros países, plasmada en la asociación estratégica integral con la que contamos y en los nutridos y crecientes intercambios económicos y culturales que la enriquecen”, manifestó la Jefa de Estado durante la reunión realizada en el Palacio del Pueblo, en Pekín.

En su discurso, la presidenta subrayó la vinculación económica entre ambos países y destacó a China como primer socio comercial de Perú y una importante fuente de inversiones en nuestro país.

“El interés de China en sectores clave de la economía peruana, como la minería, la infraestructura y la energía, es fundamental para los planes de desarrollo nacional, mientras que las inversiones en curso son fuente de empleo y una promesa de progreso económico”, enfatizó.

En otro momento, la jefa de Estado invitó al presidente Xi Jinping a la inauguración del megapuerto de Chancay, a realizarse durante la Cumbre de Líderes de APEC Perú 2024. Indicó que esta visita es una oportunidad para consolidar las relaciones bilaterales.

“Esperamos, señor presidente Xi Jinping, consolidar y expandir nuestras relaciones bilaterales, aprovechando el interés de su país en las oportunidades que el Perú ofrece en virtud de sus generosos recursos y del espíritu emprendedor de su gente”, remarcó.

En esta Visita de Estado, la comitiva oficial peruana tuvo un encuentro con el presidente del Comité Permanente de la Asamblea Popular Nacional, Zhao Leji, y con el primer ministro chino, Li Qiang. Con ambos también tuvo la oportunidad de conversar sobre las excelentes relaciones que mantienen Perú y China y la necesidad de fortalecer los vínculos comerciales y de amistad.

At another time, the head of state invited President Xi Jinping to the inauguration of the Chancay megaport, to be held during the APEC Peru 2024 Leaders Summit. She indicated that this visit is an opportunity to consolidate bilateral relations.

“We hope, Mr. President Xi Jinping, to consolidate and expand our bilateral relations, taking advantage of your country’s interest in the opportunities that Peru offers by virtue of its generous resources and the entrepreneurial spirit of its people,” he remarked.

During this State Visit, the official Peruvian delegation had a meeting with the president of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Zhao Leji, and with the Chinese Prime Minister, Li Qiang.
