Los talleres, realizados con el apoyo técnico del Proyecto MADES de la Cooperación Alemana para el Desarrollo – GIZ, se centraron en tres áreas cruciales para mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos.
La capacitación se enfocó en optimizar las plataformas de atención al ciudadano, buscando una interacción más eficiente y accesible para la población. Se abordaron estrategias para mejorar la respuesta a las consultas, simplificar los trámites y utilizar las tecnologías de la información y comunicación para una mejor gestión.
Otro eje central de la capacitación fue la implementación de una gestión de residuos sólidos con un impacto ambiental positivo. Los talleres proporcionaron a los funcionarios las herramientas y conocimientos necesarios para diseñar e implementar programas de gestión de residuos que contribuyan a la protección del medio ambiente y la salud pública. Se enfatizaron las mejores prácticas internacionales y la adaptación de estas a la realidad local de cada región.
Finalmente, la capacitación incluyó un módulo dedicado al control del crecimiento y desarrollo de niños hasta los 11 años. Este componente crucial se centró en la importancia de asegurar el desarrollo saludable de los menores, identificando de forma temprana posibles problemas de salud y brindando las herramientas necesarias para una atención oportuna y efectiva.
El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Eduardo Arana, destacó la importancia de esta iniciativa, afirmando que el Gobierno está comprometido con cerrar las brechas en la gestión pública y fortalecer las capacidades de los funcionarios regionales para brindar servicios de calidad a la ciudadanía. “Esta capacitación es un paso fundamental en nuestra estrategia para mejorar la vida de los peruanos”, señaló Arana.
El secretario de Gestión Pública, Juan Carlos Pasco, añadió que estas capacitaciones forman parte de una política nacional para elevar los estándares del servicio público, basada en la actualización de normativas y su implementación conjunta con los equipos técnicos regionales. “Estamos trabajando en conjunto para lograr una gestión pública más moderna y eficiente”, indicó Pasco.
En La Libertad, la capacitación contó con la participación de servidores del gobierno regional, la Municipalidad Provincial de Huamachuco y las municipalidades distritales de El Porvenir y La Esperanza. Mientras que, en San Martín, participaron equipos del gobierno regional y de las municipalidades provinciales de San Martín (Tarapoto), Lamas y Rioja. La exitosa realización de estos talleres representa un paso significativo hacia una gestión pública más eficiente y orientada al ciudadano en ambas regiones.

PCM: Government strengthens the capacities of public officials in La Libertad and San Martín to improve services to citizens.

The training focused on optimizing citizen service platforms, seeking more efficient and accessible interaction for the population. Strategies were discussed to improve response to inquiries, simplify procedures, and utilize information and communications technologies for better management.
Another central focus of the training was the implementation of solid waste management with a positive environmental impact. The workshops provided officials with the tools and knowledge necessary to design and implement waste management programs that contribute to environmental protection and public health. Emphasis was placed on international best practices and their adaptation to the local reality of each region.
Finally, the training included a module dedicated to monitoring the growth and development of children up to 11 years of age. This crucial component focused on the importance of ensuring the healthy development of children by identifying potential health problems early and providing the necessary tools for timely and effective care.
The President of the Council of Ministers, Eduardo Arana, highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating that the Government is committed to closing gaps in public management and strengthening the capacities of regional officials to provide quality services to citizens. “This training is a fundamental step in our strategy to improve the lives of Peruvians,” Arana stated.
The Secretary of Public Management, Juan Carlos Pasco, added that these training sessions are part of a national policy to raise public service standards, based on updating regulations and implementing them jointly with regional technical teams. “We are working together to achieve more modern and efficient public management,” Pasco stated.
