“En perfecta salvaguarda de nuestra soberanía y tras hacer los análisis correspondientes se decidió conceder esta autorización para que la empresa minera Barrick realice exploraciones en la zona sur del Perú”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial en conferencia de prensa.
Explicó que, conforme a la Constitución, la inversión privada solo puede operar dentro de los 50 kilómetros de distancia de las fronteras previa aprobación del Consejo de Ministros y en caso de necesidad pública.
“La expansión de nuestra cartera en materia de minería es fundamental, dado que esta actividad es una de las que impulsa el proceso de reactivación económica en el que trabajamos”, añadió.
PRÓRROGA DE ESTADOS DE EMERGENCIA
El premier Adrianzén informó que el Ejecutivo acordó prorrogar los estados de emergencia en las provincias de Putumayo y Mariscal Ramón Castilla, en la región Loreto, y de Trujillo y Pataz, en la región La Libertad, para profundizar la lucha contra el crimen organizado y el tráfico ilícito de drogas.
La medida entrará en vigencia en Putumayo y Mariscal Ramón Castilla en Loreto, a partir del 12 de junio durante 60 días, mientras que en Pataz y Trujillo en La Libertad, la disposición iniciará el 13 del mismo mes por un periodo de 30 días. En ambos casos el control del orden interno estará a cargo de la Policía Nacional, con el apoyo de las Fuerzas Armadas.
“AMANECER SEGURO” A NIVEL NACIONAL
En otro momento el titular del Interior, Juan Santiváñez, destacó que el operativo “Amanecer Seguro” realizado el miércoles 6 de junio logró detener 140 personas en flagrancia y 30 personas con requisitorias por delitos contra la libertad sexual, robo, extorsión, entre otros.
Agregó que esta iniciativa, que empezó en Lima, se ha replicado en las ciudades de Trujillo, Iquitos y Tacna; y subrayó que próximamente se realizará de manera simultánea en todo el territorio nacional. “El objetivo será atrapar a los delincuentes y ponerlos a disposición de la justicia”, declaró.
También reveló que se llevarán a cabo los operativos “Retorno Seguro”, entre las 6 p. m. y las 10:00 p. m., con la finalidad de contribuir en el fortalecimiento de la seguridad ciudadana.
AVANCES EN POLÍTICAS AMBIENTALES
El titular del Ministerio del Ambiente, Juan Carlos Castro, resaltó los avances realizados por el Perú en la implementación de las políticas ambientales, como las 146 medidas de adaptación y mitigación al cambio climático, y la instalación de 4 puestos policiales en Amarakaeri, Tambopata, Altomayo y en Allpahuayo-Mishana
“Estos puestos policiales tienen la finalidad de controlar acciones ilícitas y brindar seguridad a las comunidades nativas y a nuestros guardaparques, que son nuestros guardianes de la naturaleza”, dijo.
Comunicó que el sector que encabeza promueve la campaña “Menos plástico, más vida”, en articulación con los gobiernos regionales y locales para la gestión integrada de los residuos sólidos.
LANZAN INTERVENCIÓN “PREVENIR PARA PROTEGER”
La ministra de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, Teresa Hernández, anunció el lanzamiento de la intervención denominada “Prevenir para proteger”, que está dirigido a prevenir y eliminar la violencia sexual contra las niñas, los niños y los adolescentes.
“Nos enfrentamos ante un grave problema que lamentablemente no estamos visibilizando. Tenemos el compromiso de 15 gobiernos regionales para trabajar contra este grave flagelo social y convocamos a los demás para poder trabajar de manera articulada”, expresó.
Por su parte, el premier Adrianzén remarcó que la voluntad política del Gobierno para luchar contra el abuso a los menores de edad con un enfoque multisectorial y territorial.
CORPAC: GARANTIZAN COLABORACIÓN CON INVESTIGACIONES DE LA FISCALÍA
El ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Raúl Pérez Reyes, dio a conocer el traslado, desde Talara y Arequipa, de dos luces de emergencia portátiles para el Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez.
Adicionalmente, aseguró que la Corporación Peruana de Aeropuertos y Aviación Comercial (Corpac) colaborará con las investigaciones iniciadas por la fiscalía, a fin de determinar responsabilidades en la falla de las luces de la pista de aterrizaje del aeropuerto Jorge Chávez.

ADVANCES IN ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES

For his part, Premier Adrianzén highlighted the Government’s political will to fight against the abuse of minors with a multisectoral and territorial approach.
CORPAC: GUARANTEE COLLABORATION WITH INVESTIGATIONS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE
The Minister of Transportation and Communications, Raúl Pérez Reyes, announced the transfer, from Talara and Arequipa, of two portable emergency lights to the Jorge Chávez International Airport.
Additionally, he assured that the Peruvian Corporation of Airports and Commercial Aviation (Corpac) will collaborate with the investigations initiated by the prosecutor’s office, in order to determine responsibility for the failure of the lights on the landing strip at the Jorge Chávez airport.
