Como parte de su compromiso de asegurar el éxito de los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos 2027, la presidenta de la república, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, inspeccionó hoy las sedes deportivas que albergarán este magno evento deportivo.

“Con mucha alegría y entusiasmo, este gobierno asumió la responsabilidad de ser la sede de los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos 2027. Respaldamos el deporte por ser una herramienta social de cambio que promueve la paz y el desarrollo, y aseguramos, con trabajo y presupuesto, el éxito de estos juegos”, señaló durante su inspección.

En su primer punto, la jefa de Estado recorrió las instalaciones de la Villa Deportiva Nacional – Videna, donde inspeccionó las actuales condiciones de los espacios deportivos que incluyen el estadio atlético, el estadio de bolera (bowling), el centro acuático y el velódromo.

El estadio atlético posee una capacidad para 5 307 personas; el centro acuático es el único con piscina de calentamiento, competencia y clavados con torre; y el velódromo tiene un sistema de control Omega, el cual permite desarrollar cualquier categoría de un evento internacional.

Posteriormente, la jefa de Estado visitó el Complejo Deportivo Andrés Avelino Cáceres, el cual se encuentra en Villa María del Triunfo y es sede de 10 disciplinas deportivas de alto rendimiento.

Este recinto alberga un campo de béisbol, de softbol, de hockey y de rugby. Asimismo cuenta con instalaciones para la práctica de pelota vasca y de paleta frontón.

La mandataria recorrió sus instalaciones, a fin de determinar las mejoras necesarias que aseguren el éxito de los próximos Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos 2027.

Luego, la presidenta inspeccionó el Polideportivo Villa El Salvador que será sede de importantes disciplinas como vóley, gimnasia, karate y rugby en silla de ruedas. En dicho recinto se realiza la Liga Nacional Superior de Voleibol.

“El Perú está de vuelta. Como dijimos en Miami, tenemos todo para realizar los Juegos Panamericanos, y los detalles que falten acá estamos para solucionarlos de inmediato”, aseveró.

En otro momento, la jefa de Estado recordó que en Lima 2019 se construyó la Villa Panamericana con siete torres para un total de 1 096 departamentos.

“Para el 2027 contaremos con seis de las siete torres y, a fin de cubrir la demanda de camas efectivas para alojar a deportistas y oficiales de equipo, se construirán cinco edificios complementarios, lo que hará un total de 8 936 camas”, subrayó.

Finalmente, proyectó que se espera la llegada de más de 50 000 turistas en el marco de los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos 2027.

“En los Panamericanos, el retorno de inversión es de hasta cuatro dólares por cada dólar, por lo que se estima 900 millones de dólares de ingresos para el país en Lima 2027”, concluyó.

As part of her commitment to ensuring the success of the 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games, the president of the republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, today inspected the sports venues that will host this great sporting event.

“With great joy and enthusiasm, this government assumed the responsibility of hosting the 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games. We support sport as a social tool of change that promotes peace and development, and we ensure, with work and budget, the success of these games,” he noted during his inspection.

In her first point, the head of state toured the facilities of the National Sports Village – Videna, where she inspected the current conditions of the sports spaces that include the athletic stadium, the bowling stadium, the aquatic center and the velodrome.

The athletic stadium has a capacity for 5,307 people; the aquatic center is the only one with a warm-up pool, competition and tower diving; and the velodrome has an Omega control system, which allows any category of an international event to be developed.

Subsequently, the head of state visited the Andrés Avelino Cáceres Sports Complex, which is located in Villa María del Triunfo and is home to 10 high-performance sports disciplines.

This facility houses a baseball, softball, hockey and rugby field. It also has facilities for practicing Basque pelota and fronton paddle.

The president toured its facilities, in order to determine the necessary improvements to ensure the success of the next 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

Then, the president inspected the Villa El Salvador Sports Center, which will host important disciplines such as volleyball, gymnastics, karate and wheelchair rugby. The National Superior Volleyball League is held in this venue.

“Peru is back. As we said in Miami, we have everything to hold the Pan American Games, and we are here to solve any missing details immediately,” he stated.

At another time, the head of state recalled that in Lima 2019 the Pan American Village was built with seven towers for a total of 1,096 apartments.

“By 2027 we will have six of the seven towers and, in order to meet the demand for effective beds to accommodate athletes and team officials, five complementary buildings will be built, making a total of 8,936 beds,” he stressed.

Finally, he projected that the arrival of more than 50,000 tourists is expected within the framework of the 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

“In the Pan American Games, the return on investment is up to four dollars for every dollar, so it is estimated that 900 million dollars of income will be generated for the country in Lima 2027,” he concluded.
