“Mi gobierno asume el compromiso de garantizar que todos los equipos y deportistas tengan una de las experiencias más motivadoras de sus vidas”, enfatizó durante un pronunciamiento desde Palacio de Gobierno.

En ese sentido, la mandataria sostuvo que el Ejecutivo se podrá a trabajar desde hoy, en diferentes ámbitos, con miras a cumplir todas las demandas que exige el desarrollo de esta justa deportiva. “Si bien contamos con una infraestructura de primera, heredada de los Juegos Panamericanos del 2019, no nos podemos confiar”, señaló.

Afirmó que la realización de Lima 2027 generará miles de puestos de trabajos, directos e indirectos, y significará una gran inyección económica para el país, a través del turismo.

En ese contexto, destacó la próxima inauguración del nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez, cuyo funcionamiento total será fundamental para el país.

Seguidamente, la jefa de Estado aseveró que los próximos Juegos Panamericanos representarán un importante hito en la política de Gobierno para el deporte, dentro del cual se implementará una estrategia de desarrollo integral, con apoyo directo a la masificación y a la alta competencia.

“Uno de nuestros grandes retos será no solamente garantizar el rendimiento deportivo, sino, también, el rendimiento social. Construyamos juntos el futuro deportivo de nuestro país, seamos una sola camiseta, muchos sentimientos y un solo objetivo: mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los peruanos a través de los valores olímpicos”, manifestó.

En otro momento, la mandataria recordó que en noviembre del presente año el Perú recibirá la edición especial de los Juegos Bolivarianos Ayacucho 2024, mientras que el 2025 se organizarán los Juegos Bolivarianos Ayacucho – Lima. A estos eventos se sumará la realización de los Juegos Panamericanos y Parapanamericanos 2027

“Con orgullo puedo decirles, además, que el Perú se sigue afianzando como el epicentro de grandes eventos deportivos”, concluyó.

He stated that the realization of Lima 2027 will generate thousands of jobs, direct and indirect, and will mean a great economic injection for the country, through tourism.

In this context, he highlighted the upcoming inauguration of the new Jorge Chávez International Airport, whose full operation will be essential for the country.

Next, the head of state asserted that the next Pan American Games will represent an important milestone in the Government’s policy for sports, within which a comprehensive development strategy will be implemented, with direct support for massification and high competition.

“One of our great challenges will be to not only guarantee sporting performance, but also social performance. Let’s build together the sporting future of our country, let’s be a single shirt, many feelings and a single objective: to improve the quality of life of all Peruvians through Olympic values,” he said.

At another time, the president recalled that in November of this year Peru will receive the special edition of the Ayacucho 2024 Bolivarian Games, while in 2025 the Ayacucho – Lima Bolivarian Games will be organized. To these events the holding of the 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games will be added.

“I can also proudly tell you that Peru continues to establish itself as the epicenter of major sporting events,” he concluded.
