El pabellón peruano, con su lema “Infinitas Posibilidades”, se presenta como una ventana al Perú contemporáneo, donde convergen el conocimiento ancestral y la innovación; a presidenta Boluarte enfatizó que el país está apostando por la sostenibilidad, la bioeconomía y la tecnología para construir un futuro inclusivo. Este espacio de 300 m² ofrece a los visitantes un recorrido que combina el patrimonio milenario con expresiones contemporáneas, mostrando la riqueza cultural y la diversidad del Perú.
Entre los atractivos del pabellón se encuentran piezas de la cultura Nazca, joyas del Señor de Sipán, recreaciones 3D de Machu Picchu y Caral, así como la muestra “Nasca: Secretos del desierto”, que revela ocho vasijas ceremoniales, una pieza de oro y una antara musical; además, el espacio incluye un área dedicada a los vínculos históricos entre Perú y Japón, una barra gastronómica con degustaciones en vivo y una exhibición de productos nacionales como café, cacao, pisco, joyería, textiles de alpaca y superfoods.
La presidenta Boluarte aprovechó su intervención para invitar a los asistentes a descubrir los diversos atractivos turísticos del Perú, desde la Amazonía hasta Machu Picchu, pasando por la Fortaleza de Kuélap, el Lago Titicaca, la Cordillera Blanca, las playas y manglares del norte, y las Líneas de Nasca; en este sentido, resaltó la reciente firma de un Memorándum de Cooperación en materia de turismo entre Perú y Japón, que permitirá incrementar el intercambio cultural y económico, y fomentar la llegada de más visitantes japoneses al país.
Asimismo, la mandataria recordó que Perú y Japón comparten más de 152 años de relaciones diplomáticas, cimentadas por la migración japonesa y fortalecidas por la comunidad nikkei y el trabajo conjunto con el sector privado japonés. En este contexto, reiteró su invocación a apostar por la inversión en las regiones peruanas, destacando las condiciones favorables que ofrece el país para la inversión extranjera, como un marco jurídico estable, sólidos indicadores macroeconómicos y una cartera diversa de proyectos en infraestructura.
En ese sentido, hay que recordar que el Perú fue el primer país latinoamericano en establecer relaciones diplomáticas con Japón en 1873, lo que inició una historia de migración, cooperación y fortalecimiento de lazos que continúa en la actualidad.
La Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, que se lleva a cabo cada 5 años, se desarrolla en la Isla Yumeshima del 13 de abril al 13 de octubre de 2025. Al 20 de julio, el pabellón peruano había recibido 667,679 visitantes, con un promedio diario de 6,749, lo que proyecta superar las 1.2 millones de visitas hasta octubre. La participación del Perú en este evento representa una oportunidad única para fortalecer sus lazos con Japón y el mundo, así como para promover su cultura, turismo y comercio.

The Peruvian pavilion, with its motto “Infinite Possibilities,” is presented as a window into contemporary Peru, where ancestral knowledge and innovation converge. President Boluarte emphasized that the country is committed to sustainability, the bioeconomy, and technology to build an inclusive future. This 300 m² space offers visitors a tour that combines ancient heritage with contemporary expressions, showcasing Peru’s cultural richness and diversity.
Among the pabilones attractions are artifacts from the Nazca culture, jewelry from the Lord of Sipán, 3D recreations of Machu Picchu and Caral, as well as the “Nazca: Secretes of the Deserto” exhibit, which showcases eight ceremonial vessels, a gold piece, and a musical antara. The space also includes an area dedicated to the historical ties between Peru and Japan, a gastronomic bar with live tastings, and an exhibition of national products such as coffee, cacao, pisco, jewelry, alpaca textiles, and superfoods.
President Boluarte took advantage of her remarks to invite attendees to discover Peru’s diverse tourist attractions, from the Amazon to Machu Picchu, passing through the Kuelap Fortress, Lake Titicaca, the Cordillera Blanca, the beaches and mangotes of the north, and the Nazca Lines. In this regard, he highlighted the recent signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation on tourism between Peru and Japan, which will increase cultural and economic exchange and encourage more Japanese visitors to the country.
The president also recalled that Peru and Japan have shared more than 152 years of diplomatic relations, cemented by Japanese migration and strengthened by the Nikkei community and joint work with the Japanese private sector.
