Estos fondos cruciales serán destinados a la ejecución de una serie de proyectos estratégicos y a la implementación de medidas de respuesta inmediata, diseñadas para mejorar significativamente la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos moqueguanos.
El anuncio se realizó en el marco de una mesa de diálogo constructiva, liderada por el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial en la ciudad de Moquegua. Este espacio de encuentro reunió a autoridades regionales y locales, representantes de la sociedad civil y miembros clave del Ejecutivo, con el objetivo de abordar de manera integral la situación de la cuenca y priorizar las necesidades más urgentes de la población.
“Hemos tomado la firme decisión de emitir, en el transcurso de la próxima semana, el decreto supremo que autorizará formalmente la transferencia de estos importantes recursos a la entidad regional”, enfatizó el Premier Arana, subrayando el compromiso inquebrantable del Gobierno Central con el desarrollo sostenible de Moquegua.
El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) detalló que, de los 20 compromisos previamente establecidos con la región, un total de 12 ya han sido satisfactoriamente cumplidos, mientras que los 8 restantes se encuentran en una fase avanzada de ejecución. Este avance significativo reafirma la seriedad y diligencia con la que el Gobierno está abordando las demandas planteadas por las autoridades y la comunidad moqueguana.
En un gesto de visión a largo plazo, el Premier Arana expresó la firme voluntad política del Ejecutivo de gestionar los recursos necesarios para financiar la elaboración del expediente técnico del anhelado Hospital de Ilo, un proyecto de gran envergadura cuya inversión total se estima en 300 millones de soles. “Reconocemos la urgencia de contar con este importante centro de salud, y por ello nos comprometemos a concretar el financiamiento de los 3 millones de soles requeridos para iniciar el expediente técnico a la mayor brevedad posible”, aseguró.
La mesa de diálogo contó con la valiosa participación de los ministros de Energía y Minas, Jorge Montero, y de la Producción, Sergio González, así como de los viceministros de Gestión Ambiental, Juan Durand; Construcción y Saneamiento, Christian Barrantes; Desarrollo de la Agricultura Familiar e Infraestructura Agraria, Orlando Chirinos; Salud Pública, Eric Peña; y Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM, Francisco Gavidia.
También estuvieron presentes la gobernadora regional de Moquegua, Gilia Gutiérrez, los alcaldes provinciales y distritales, y representantes destacados de la sociedad civil, quienes aportaron sus perspectivas y necesidades para enriquecer el diálogo y garantizar que las decisiones tomadas respondan a las prioridades de la población.
Con estas acciones concretas y decisiones estratégicas, el Gobierno Central reafirma su firme determinación de brindar una respuesta integral y efectiva a las necesidades apremiantes de Moquegua, impulsando la remediación ambiental, promoviendo el desarrollo sostenible y sacando adelante proyectos estratégicos que mejoren sustancialmente la calidad de vida de todos los moqueguanos.

“We have made the firm decision to issue, within the next week, the supreme decree that will formally authorize the transfer of these important resources to the regional entity,” Prime Minister Arana emphasized, underscoring the Central Government’s unwavering commitment to the sustainable development of Moquegua.
