Propuesta de Corredores Bioceánicos
El presidente de la SNI detalló la importancia de tres corredores bioceánicos clave:
1.- Corredor Norte: Iniciándose en Manaos y conectando Iquitos por vía fluvial, este corredor se extendería hasta Yurimaguas y, finalmente, a los puertos del norte (Bayóvar, Puerto Eten o Salaverry) por carretera. Este corredor optimizaría el comercio sudamericano, posicionando a Perú como un punto neurálgico.
2.- Corredor Central: Propuso la creación de un tren bioceánico que atraviese el continente, facilitando el transporte eficiente de mercancías.
3.- Corredor Sur: Utilizando la carretera Interoceánica Sur hasta el puerto de Matarani, este corredor potenciaría el comercio en la región sur del país.
James Callao destacó que estos corredores reducirían en aproximadamente 15 días el tiempo de envío de productos desde la zona amazónica de Brasil hacia los mercados asiáticos, lo que representa una ventaja competitiva significativa.
Zonas Económicas Especiales Privadas (ZEEP)
El líder de la SNI también resaltó el potencial de las Zonas Económicas Especiales Privadas (ZEEP) para atraer inversión extranjera y dinamizar la industria nacional. Abogó por mantener políticas de desregulación que fomenten la inversión y el comercio en el país.
Condena a la Violencia y Llamado a la Investigación
James Callao lamentó profundamente la muerte del joven Eduardo Ruiz Sanz durante las recientes protestas y actos violentos. Expresó sus condolencias y exigió una investigación exhaustiva de las circunstancias. Asimismo, condenó enérgicamente las agresiones contra la Policía Nacional del Perú, reafirmando que la violencia no debe ser tolerada en el ámbito político nacional.
