La intervención se produjo debido a que la empresa propietaria no contaba con las guías de tránsito requeridas por la ley para el transporte seguro de estos materiales.

La operación se llevó a cabo en el kilómetro 6.5 de la Panamericana Norte, específicamente en el desvío de la Variante de Pasamayo. En este punto, con el apoyo de las autoridades policiales, se intervinieron cuatro tráileres que transportaban contenedores cargados con diversos tipos de pirotécnicos, incluyendo bazucas de luces, tortas de tiros, cohetecillos y luces de bengala. La magnitud del cargamento y la diversidad de los productos pirotécnicos evidenciaban un riesgo considerable para la seguridad pública.

La guía de tránsito para el transporte de pirotécnicos es un documento esencial que especifica el punto de partida y el destino autorizado para estos productos. Este requisito es fundamental para asegurar la integridad del cargamento, previniendo su posible interceptación por parte de la delincuencia y minimizando el riesgo de siniestros. La ruta establecida en la guía se traza cuidadosamente, evitando áreas densamente pobladas y optando por zonas abiertas, lo que contribuye a reducir el impacto de posibles incidentes.

Esta incautación no solo representa el cumplimiento de la ley, sino también una medida preventiva crucial para evitar que estos productos lleguen a manos de comerciantes no autorizados, especialmente en vísperas de las festividades navideñas. Al impedir su ingreso al mercado informal, se reduce significativamente el riesgo de pérdidas personales y materiales que podrían resultar de la manipulación irresponsable de estos artefactos.

Por orden del Ministerio Público, el material incautado ha sido trasladado a la Dirección de Operaciones Especiales (Diroes-Dinoes), donde permanecerá bajo custodia mientras se llevan a cabo las investigaciones pertinentes a la empresa importadora. Estas investigaciones determinarán el destino final de los productos y las posibles sanciones a aplicar.

Adicionalmente, se descubrió que los cuatro vehículos intervenidos formaban parte de un grupo mayor de once unidades, todas con la misma carga y destino: Lurín. Gracias al rastreo coordinado entre Sucamec y Sunat, se logró ubicar las siete unidades restantes en un lugar no autorizado para la recepción y descarga de pirotécnicos. Se estima que los pirotécnicos contenidos en estos contenedores superan las 170 toneladas, lo que agrava aún más la situación.

Esta infracción constituye un presunto delito contra la seguridad pública, específicamente en la modalidad de peligro común, lo que justifica la intervención inmediata de las autoridades.

La Sucamec, como entidad adscrita al Ministerio del Interior, reafirma su compromiso de continuar fiscalizando el transporte y comercio de productos pirotécnicos, en estrecha colaboración con otras instituciones encargadas de fortalecer la seguridad ciudadana. El objetivo principal es garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente y proteger a la población de los riesgos asociados con el manejo irresponsable de estos materiales.

This seizure not only represents compliance with the law, but also a crucial preventative measure to keep these products from reaching the hands of unauthorized vendors, especially in the lead-up to the Christmas holidays. By preventing their entry into the informal market, the risk of personal and material losses that could result from the irresponsible handling of these devices is significantly reduced.

By order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the seized material has been transferred to the Directorate of Special Operations (Diroes-Dinoes), where it will remain in custody while the relevant investigations are carried out against the importing company. These investigations will determine the final destination of the products and any possible sanctions to be applied.

Additionally, it was discovered that the four vehicles seized were part of a larger group of eleven units, all carrying the same cargo and destined for Lurín. Thanks to coordinated tracking between Sucamec and Sunat, the remaining seven units were located at an unauthorized site for receiving and unloading fireworks.
