La entrega formal de la ayuda humanitaria consistente en 600 bolsas de alimentos, 600 kits escolares, 200 kits para recién nacidos y 100 bastones, se realizó el Sábado 23 de Abril en horas de la mañana en la estación Puno Muelle Perú Rail del Lago Titicaca y cargada por voluntarios de “Manos que Ayudan” en el buque Plataforma Itinerante de Acción Social – PIAS, Lago Titicaca I. La donación la entregó Tomas F. Arrayan, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo, acompañado de Humberto Quispe Zapana, Director de Comunicación de la Iglesia en Puno.

Recibieron la ayuda humanitaria Yssac Leonardo Soncco Silva, Jefe de la Unidad Territorial Puno del programa nacional Plataforma de Acción para la Inclusión Social – PAIS y el Comandante MGP Giovanni Manrique Salazar, Comandante de la Plataforma Itinerante de Acción Social – PIAS del Lago Titicaca en Puno quienes agradecieron a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por la iniciativa de ayuda humanitaria que permitirá entregar alimentos y otros artículos a la población vulnerable de la región.

Cada bolsa con 15 kilos de alimentos de primera necesidad contienen: Leche evaporada, avena, azúcar, arroz y otros; Los paquetes para recién nacidos contienen pañales, mantas y otros; Y los Kits escolares contienen mochila y artículos de higiene como cepillo y pasta dental, además de jabón y toalla.
