“Con la escasez de la urea en el mercado internacional, el gobierno peruano busca una solución a largo plazo que garantice la seguridad alimentaria e incremente la productividad de las tierras que trabajan nuestros agricultores. Para ello, la comisión instalada tiene por objetivo elaborar un informe técnico que contenga la propuesta normativa para la creación e implementación de la planta”, manifestó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.
Durante la sesión de instalación, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) enfatizó la necesidad de incorporar los avances tecnológicos, a fin de contribuir a la labor que realizan los agricultores en todo el país, sin desatender el cuidado del medio ambiente.
La instalación de la comisión, realizada en la sede de la PCM, contó con la participación de los ministros de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez; Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Andrés Alencastre; Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, César Paniagua, y Transportes y Comunicaciones, Geiner Alvarado, así como los viceministros de los ministerios de Energía y Minas y Producción.
