La Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos es un órgano de la Organización de los Estados Americanos creado para promover la observancia y la defensa de los derechos humanos, además de servir como órgano consultivo de la OEA en esta materia.

Y esta cita de trabajo de dicho ente internacional en nuestro país se desarrolla del 11 al 13 de enero, la delegación es liderada por el Primer Vicepresidente y Relator para Perú, Comisionado Stuardo Ralón junto, con el Comisionado Joel Hernández, se indicó que dicha delegación se reunirán con autoridades, con víctimas y familiares, y visitarán además de Lima, como: Ica y Arequipa.

En su primer día de visita de observación a la gran nación Inca, el Primer Vicepresidente y Relator para Perú, Comisionado Stuardo Ralón junto, con el Comisionado Joel Hernández, se reunieron con la Presidenta de la República Dina Boluarte Zegarra y altas autoridades de su gobierno para recibir información del contexto actual.

Por su parte el gobierno peruano, expresó a los miembros de la CIDH, que su administración viene promoviendo el diálogo y la paz social, del mismo que han dispuesto brindar todas las facilidades para saber lo que ha pasado, como tal como se brindó a los comisionados que visitaron el país en diciembre de 2022.

La reunión, que se prolongó por cerca de tres horas, la mandataria peruana Dina Boluarte Zegarra, detalló a los comisionados que las medidas dispuestas por el Gobierno, ante las recientes manifestaciones, tuvieron como propósito resguardar a los peruanos y peruanas, la infraestructura pública y los aeropuertos en las regiones, puntualizó.
