El I Foro de Economía Circular en Agua y Saneamiento tiene por objetivo la construcción de un espacio participativo entre entidades públicas, privadas, la academia y cooperantes internacionales, para compartir información técnica y experiencias exitosas sobre la implementación del enfoque de economía circular y protección de los recursos hídricos en la prestación de los servicios de agua y saneamiento, resaltando sus beneficios con la finalidad de impulsar su réplica.
Como Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento se viene promoviendo la adecuada gestión de los servicios de agua y saneamiento, desde una óptica de continuidad, eficiencia y suficiencia de los mismos, para el cierre de brechas de acceso poblacional, sino que, además, dichas funciones deben ser realizadas desde un enfoque que propicie la sostenibilidad de aquellos, que propicie la reducción de agua no facturada, la conservación de fuentes de agua, la disminución de los subproductos que se generan en dichos procesos y, respecto de aquellos subproductos que lleguen a generarse, maximizar su reaprovechamiento.
HANIA PÉREZ DE CUÉLLAR: MINISTRA DE VIVIENDA, CONSTRUCCIÓN Y SANEAMIENTO
Licenciada en Ciencias Políticas, Económicas y Estudios Sociales por la Universidad Pierre Mendès France y magíster en Desarrollo Económico y Social por la Universidad de La Sorbona de Francia. Experta en planificación estratégica y del desarrollo, evaluación y monitoreo de proyectos. Cuenta con experiencia en la gerencia de proyectos de desarrollo sostenible, innovación y responsabilidad social para la gestión de proyectos con la cooperación internacional y el sector privado. Ha sido presidenta ejecutiva del Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección Intelectual (Indecopi).
