Ellos estarán presentes en el Parque Kennedy del distrito de Miraflores, del viernes 19 al lunes 29 de julio, el ingreso es totalmente gratuito. Durante el desarrollo de este evento los asistentes podrán apreciar, además, talleres en vivo de artesanía, desfiles de modas, área lúdica para niños, entre otras actividades.

Acompañada del alcalde de Miraflores, Carlos Canales, la viceministra Madeleine Burns destacó que esta feria es un trabajo de promoción, que busca mejorar las condiciones de vida de los artesanos.

“Tenemos que incorporar la artesanía peruana en nuestras vidas si queremos compartirla con todos los turistas que vienen al Perú, para que sepan que en este país la preservación y sostenibilidad cultural es absolutamente importante”, manifestó la funcionaria.

La feria “De Nuestras Manos” cuenta con la participación de artesanos de las 25 regiones del país, quienes superaron una rigurosa evaluación que incluyó a más de 590 postulantes.

El jurado evaluador estuvo conformado por representantes de instituciones del sector público y privado, quienes pudieron valorar el trabajo que realizan los artistas.

“De Nuestras Manos” está dividida en seis ambientes identificados por especies emblemáticas del país, los cuales son: el chilalo, el colibrí, el zorro, el otorongo, el cóndor y el área para artesanos ganadores del premio Amautas.

En esos espacios se expondrán los trabajos de diferentes líneas artesanales, como cerámica y alfarería, fibra vegetal, imaginería, mates y huingos, talla, pintura, textilería, joyería y orfebrería, entre otros.

Es importante mencionar que, además de la Feria Nacional de Artesanía “De Nuestras Manos”, el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo viene organizando en paralelo otras tres ferias adicionales. Se trata de la Feria Artesanías del Perú – Áncash – Huaraz, Artesanías del Perú – Ayacucho, y Artesanías del Perú – Puno, cada una de ellas con 30 participantes.

La Feria de Áncash se realiza en la Plaza Mayor de Huaraz, del 19 al 30 de julio. Y respecto a las ferias de Ayacucho (Plaza Mayor de Ayacucho) y Puno (Parque Pino), estas se presentan del 19 al 29 de julio.

Se proyecta que las cuatro ferias alcanzararán ventas por S/ 2 millones, lo que representa un promedio de S/ 9 500 en ventas por artesano, monto que equivale entre 3 y 4 meses de trabajo.

The “De Nuestras Manos” fair has the participation of artisans from the 25 regions of the country, who passed a rigorous evaluation that included more than 590 applicants.

The evaluating jury was made up of representatives of public and private sector institutions, who were able to evaluate the work done by the artists.

“De Nuestras Manos” is divided into six environments identified by emblematic species of the country, which are: the chilalo, the hummingbird, the fox, the otorongo, the condor and the area for artisans who have won the Amautas award.

In these spaces, works from different artisanal lines will be exhibited, such as ceramics and pottery, plant fiber, imagery, mates and huingos, carving, painting, textiles, jewelry and goldsmithing, among others.

It is important to mention that, in addition to the National Crafts Fair “De Nuestras Manos”, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has been organizing three other additional fairs in parallel. These are the Crafts of Peru Fair – Áncash – Huaraz, Crafts of Peru – Ayacucho, and Crafts of Peru – Puno, each of them with 30 participants.

The Áncash Fair takes place in the Plaza Mayor of Huaraz, from July 19 to 30. And regarding the fairs of Ayacucho (Plaza Mayor of Ayacucho) and Puno (Parque Pino), these are presented from July 19 to 29.
