La presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, participó la noche del 22 de julio, en la noche en la ceremonia de oración interreligiosa: Oramos por el Perú 2024 – Celebrando la creación divina, organizada por el Consejo Interreligioso del Perú- Religiones por la Paz. Este evento se realizó en el auditorio del colegio Maria Alvarado Lima High School de la Iglesia Merodista.

Este evento se transmitió en vivo y por señal abierta, a partir de las 19:00 horas, para las diversas plataformas del Canal del Estado: televisión nacional (TVPerú), así como para sus canales de Youtube y Facebook Live.

Cabe destacar que, en su llegada a este evento, que se realiza por motivo de las celebraciones por Fiestas Patrias, la presidenta Dina Boluarte fue recibida por el monseñor Salvador Piñero, titular del Consejo Interreligioso del Perú, por el élder Rafael E. Pino de la Presidencia del Área Sudamérica Noroeste de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días y por el obispo Cesar Llanco de la Iglesia Merodista del Perú.

El Consejo Interreligioso del Perú – Religiones por la Paz congrega a líderes religiosos con presencia en el país, tales como: La Iglesia Católica, La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, Iglesia Metodista, Iglesia Anglicana, Iglesia Evangélica Presbiteriana y Reformada del Perú, Iglesia Ortodoxa Griega del Patriarcado de Antioquia, Red Interconfesional de Mujeres de Fe, Asociación Judía del Perú, Asociación Islámica del Perú, Comunidad Budista Zen Sotoshu, Brahma Kumaris, Comunidad Bahá’í del Perú entre otras.

De esta forma, en la ceremonia se oró por la creación divida con el propósito de rogar a Dios por el bienestar del país y su gente.

El élder Oswaldo Soto, setenta de área, oró por la familia y expresó en su oración: “Te rogamos por las familias de Perú, pedimos que las protejas con tu manto, que las ayudes a encontrar la felicidad y paz anheladas, que seamos uno contigo, y recordemos buscarte siempre”. También indicó que los matrimonios y las familias que logran tener éxito se establecen y se mantienen sobre los principios de la fe, de la oración, del arrepentimiento, del perdón, del respeto, del amor, de la compasión, del trabajo y de las actividades recreativas edificantes.

Durante la ceremonia, destacó la participación de una coral interreligiosa conformado por miembros activos de las diferentes representaciones religiosas, bajo la dirección del reconocido director coral José Federico Quezada Macchiavello. El coro interpretó: Hanacpachap Cussicuinin, Oh creaciones del Señor, Jesús alegría de los hombres, y el Hallelujah de Georg Friedrich Handel.
