“Estamos adoptando medidas de carácter excepcional con el propósito de que la empresa supere la coyuntura actual. Tenemos el deber de garantizar la sostenibilidad de Petroperú y la comercialización de hidrocarburos, pensando en el rol que tiene en materia de asistencia social a las comunidades más alejadas del país, a las que no llega la oferta privada”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

En tanto, el ministro de Energía y Minas, Rómulo Mucho, señaló que Petroperú requiere de viabilidad financiera para hacer pagos y honrar sus compromisos, y estimó que en el lapso de un año la empresa no necesitará de apoyo. “Se requiere del compromiso para implementar medidas de austeridad radicales en la empresa que logren un ahorro del 10 % en el 2024 y del 30 % en el 2025”, añadió el ministro.

ACCIONES DESPLEGADAS PARA CONTROLAR INCENDIOS FORESTALES
El ministro de Defensa, Walter Astudillo, informó que se ha desplegado el Sistema Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres (SINAGERD) para hacer frente a los incendios forestales que se registran en diversas partes del país, los cuales están siendo monitoreados desde el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Nacional (COEN).

El ministro Astudillo destacó la actuación y la articulación de las brigadas de los gobiernos locales y regionales, de las Fuerzas Armadas y de Policía Nacional, de la compañía de bomberos y del personal de los ministerios de Ambiente y de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego.

El titular de Defensa refirió que, dentro de las posibilidades del país y sin desatender las emergencias reportadas en el territorio nacional, el Perú también brindó apoyo a los países hermanos de Ecuador y Bolivia, los cuales también son afectados por este tipo de incendios.

FACILITARÁN ACCESO FAMILIAS POBRES A INTERNET
El ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Raúl Pérez Reyes, reveló que su sector trabaja en el diseño de un programa que entregará subsidios a las familias en situación de pobreza y pobreza extrema para que puedan tener conexión a Internet domiciliaria.

Explicó que el subsidio será entregado a las familias que estén registradas en el Sistema de Focalización de Hogares (SISFOH), accedan al servicio eléctrico y tengan a un miembro del hogar que asiste a algún centro o programa de educación básica o superior.
