Durante la jornada, que se realizó en el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Nacional (COEN) bajo el liderazgo del ministro de Defensa, Walter Astudillo, y el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM), Juan Haro, se anunció que el Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento (MVCS) descolmatará las mallas dinámicas de las quebradas Pedregal y Santo Domingo, en Lurigancho Chosica, con una inversión de más de 350 mil soles, lo que beneficiará a 9900 personas.

Por su parte, la Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA) informó el despliegue de más de 50 unidades de maquinaria pesada para la limpieza y la descolmatación, en aproximadamente 60 días, de más de 30 puntos críticos del río Rímac y 4 quebradas del distrito Chaclacayo, lo que impactará positivamente en 70 mil ciudadanos.

La actividad también contó con la participación de representantes de los ministerios de Economía y Finanzas; Transportes y Comunicaciones; Producción; y Desarrollo Agrario y Riego; de la Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA); el Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología (Senamhi); el Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil (Indeci); el Centro Nacional de Estimación, Prevención y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (Cenepred); y el Instituto del Mar del Perú (Imarpe) y el Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP); así como de la Secretaría de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres de la PCM.

MONITOREO PERMANENTE
El viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial, Juan Haro, destacó que las reuniones periódicas de las entidades que integran el Grupo Fuerza Tarea Ministerial, presidido por la PCM, permitirá hacer seguimiento al estado de las intervenciones que impulsa el Ejecutivo para prevenir el impacto de las lluvias, así como de las emergencias reportadas en el territorio nacional durante la temporada de precipitaciones intensas.

“Las entidades técnicas han informado sobre la presencia de lluvias en condiciones normales en algunos casos, y en otros que la superan, pero sin alcanzar situaciones críticas. Sin embargo, los diferentes ministerios han decidido desplegar sus maquinarias a puntos estratégicos”, declaró el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial.

PLAN MULISECTORIAL
El representante de la PCM recordó que el 9 de enero último se publicó el Plan Multisectorial ante Lluvias Intensas y Peligros Asociados 2025-2027, el cual dispone para el 2025 la ejecución de más de 3 mil millones de soles para llevar a cabo acciones destinadas a reducir la vulnerabilidad de la población ante estos fenómenos.

“Este plan multisectorial establece las distintas intervenciones que harán todas las entidades a nivel nacional, tanto las de corto plazo, durante los próximos tres meses, como las soluciones integrales, que irán avanzando en su implementación a través de la Autoridad Nacional de Infraestructura”, manifestó el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM.

Al final la reunión, el ministro de Defensa junto a los representantes de la Secretaría de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, el MVCS, el Indeci y el ANA hicieron un sobrevuelo sobre los puntos críticos identificados a fin de constatar el despliegue de la maquinaria.

“This multisector plan establishes the different interventions that all entities will make at the national level, both the short-term ones, during the next three months, and the comprehensive solutions, which will advance in their implementation through the National Infrastructure Authority,” stated the Vice Minister of Territorial Governance of the PCM.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Defense together with the representatives of the Secretariat of Disaster Risk Management, the MVCS, the Indeci and the ANA made an overflight over the identified critical points in order to verify the deployment of the machinery.
