Este proyecto, anhelado por la población piurana durante más de 26 años, representa un paso significativo hacia el desarrollo y la integración regional.

El nuevo puente beneficiará directamente a 255 000 personas y demandará una inversión de 375 millones de soles. Este proyecto vial conectará los distritos de Morropón, Buenos Aires y La Matanza, brindando importantes beneficios a los pobladores y agricultores de la región Piura.

“Han pasado 26 años, y el proyecto del puente Carrasquillo permaneció estancado, como una pesadilla a la espera de despertar para convertirse en realidad. Hoy esa pesadilla ha terminado para los hermanos de Morropón. Estamos haciendo realidad este proyecto; así trabaja mi gobierno, atendiendo las necesidades de nuestros pueblos y materializando sus anhelos”, declaró la mandataria en la Plaza de Armas del mencionado distrito, donde la población celebró con alegría y entusiasmo la reactivación del proyecto.

Esta obra, de 550 metros de longitud, será construida sobre el tramo donde se encontraba el antiguo puente Carrasquillo, que colapsó en 1998 debido al impacto del Fenómeno de El Niño. Esta moderna infraestructura sustituirá al antiguo puente de un solo carril y menor longitud.

“Este puente será construido en cumplimiento de altos estándares de calidad y contará con pasarelas peatonales que le permitirán resistir las inclemencias del clima, y garantizar una infraestructura accesible y segura para todos, incluso durante las lluvias. Con proyectos y obras de alto impacto, estamos mejorando las condiciones de vida de nuestros compatriotas”, remarcó la jefa de Estado.

En otro momento, la presidenta afirmó que su gobierno se mantiene firme en el compromiso de destrabar proyectos a nivel nacional, resaltando que la reactivación de obras no solo mejora las condiciones de vida de los peruanos, sino que también impulsa significativamente la economía del país.

Asimismo, la jefa de Estado explicó que su presencia en el próximo Foro Económico Mundial, en Davos (Suiza), permitirá posicionar la imagen del Perú como socio estratégico y confiable para las inversiones.

“Necesitamos que Perú se vea como un país importante para el mundo. Necesitamos más inversiones que vengan a Perú. Tenemos que ir a decirles allá afuera que Perú es un país confiable, un país que se proyecta”, puntualizó.

At another time, the president stated that her government remains firm in its commitment to unblock projects at the national level, highlighting that the reactivation of works not only improves the living conditions of Peruvians, but also significantly boosts the country’s economy.

Likewise, the head of state explained that her presence at the next World Economic Forum, in Davos (Switzerland), will position Peru’s image as a strategic and reliable partner for investments.

“We need Peru to be seen as an important country for the world. We need more investments to come to Peru. We have to go and tell them out there that Peru is a reliable country, a country that projects itself,” he said.
