El viaje del jefe del Gabinete Ministerial para estar presente en este importante evento que reunirá a gobiernos, empresas de inteligencia artificial (IA), grupos de la sociedad civil y expertos de todo el mundo, fue autorizada mediante resolución suprema nro. 024-2025-PCM, publicada el 8 de febrero en edición extraordinaria de la separata de normas legales del diario oficial “El Peruano”.

La cumbre tiene por objetivo crear colectivamente los fundamentos científicos, las soluciones y la normativa para una inteligencia artificial más sostenible, que sirva al progreso colectivo y al interés general. Para ello se abordarán cinco temas clave: la IA al servicio del interés público, el futuro del trabajo, la innovación y cultura, la IA de confianza y la gobernanza mundial de la IA.

“Con la presencia del Perú en este foro de alto nivel buscamos afianzar la presencia de nuestro país en el escenario mundial, sobre todo en temas tan cruciales como la determinación de estándares y regulaciones internacionales que definirán el uso seguro y ético de la inteligencia artificial”, indicó el premier Adrianzén.

Como parte de este evento, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) también asistirá a mesas redondas y reuniones bilaterales con representantes de diferentes gobiernos, del sector tecnológico y de la sociedad civil, lo que representa un espacio estratégico para fortalecer la cooperación en IA.

Asimismo, la inteligencia artificial representa una oportunidad clave para el crecimiento del Perú, debido al potencial que tiene para mejorar la productividad en sectores estratégicos y optimizar la gestión gubernamental.

Esta cita se basa en los avances logrados en las cumbres de Bletchley Park (Reino Unido), en noviembre del 2023, y de Seúl (Corea del Sur), en mayo del 2024.

The summit aims to collectively create the scientific foundations, solutions and regulations for a more sustainable artificial intelligence, which serves collective progress and the general interest. “With the presence of Peru in this high-level forum we seek to strengthen the presence of our country on the world stage, especially in such crucial issues as the determination of international standards and regulations that will define the safe and ethical use of artificial intelligence,” said Premier Adrianzén.

As part of this event, the head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) will also attend round tables and bilateral meetings with representatives of different governments, the technology sector and civil society, which represents a strategic space to strengthen cooperation in AI.

Likewise, artificial intelligence represents a key opportunity for the growth of Peru, due to the potential it has to improve productivity in strategic sectors and optimize government management.

This meeting is based on the progress made at the Bletchley Park (United Kingdom) summits, in November 2023, and Seoul (South Korea), in May 2024.
