En dicho marco, ambos destacaron su compromiso de fortalecer los históricos vínculos de hermandad, cooperación e integración, así como impulsar los temas prioritarios de la agenda bilateral entre ambos países, orientados al bienestar de nuestros pueblos.
Ambos Cancilleres suscribieron el Acuerdo para el funcionamiento del Módulo Temporal Fronterizo del paso de frontera San Lorenzo (Perú) – Extrema (Bolivia) y el Memorándum Binacional que aprueba el financiamiento y Plan Operativo Bienal 2025-2026 de la Autoridad Binacional Autónoma del Lago Titicaca. El Presidente del Congreso de la República, Eduardo Salhuana Cavides, participó como testigo de honor en la ceremonia de suscripción de dichos acuerdos bilaterales.
Igualmente, reafirmaron su voluntad de imprimir una nueva dinámica a los vínculos bilaterales con la programación de las reuniones de los principales mecanismos bilaterales en materia de: gestión integrada de recursos hídricos y del Lago Titicaca; la próxima habilitación de nuevas rutas de integración como la carretera Tacna-La Paz; facilidades al comercio exterior boliviano para su proyección a los mercados del Asia-Pacífico a través del Puerto de Chancay; cooperación en materia de seguridad; y, la reafirmación del compromiso de integración regional en el marco de la Comunidad Andina.

Meeting of foreign ministers of Peru and Bolivia in Lima reinforces actions of the “Binational Autonomous Authority of Lake Titicaca”, as well as joint cooperation.
Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe On that date, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elmer Schialer, received the Chancellor of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Celinda Sosa, who made a working visit to the city of Lima. In this framework, both highlighted their commitment to strengthening the historical ties of brotherhood, cooperation and integration, as well as promoting priority issues on the bilateral agenda between both countries, aimed at the well-being of our people.
Both Foreign Ministers signed the Agreement for the operation of the Temporaria Border Module of the San Lorenzo (Peru) – Extrema (Bolivia) border crossing and the Binational Memorandum that approves the financing and Biennial Operational Plan 2025-2026 of the Binational Autonomous Authority of Lake Titicaca. The President of the Congress of the Republic, Eduardo Salhuana Cavides, participated as an honorary witness in the signing ceremony of said bilateral agreements.
Likewise, they reaffirmed their willingness to give a new dynamic to bilateral ties with the scheduling of meetings of the main bilateral mechanisms regarding: integrated management of water resources and Lake Titicaca; the upcoming authorization of new integration routes such as the Tacna-La Paz highway; facilities for Bolivian foreign trade for its projection to the Asia-Pacific markets through the Port of Chancay; security cooperation; and, the reaffirmation of the commitment to regional integration within the framework of the Andean Community.
