Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe El Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (MINJUSDH), a través de la Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales (ANPD), brinda recomendaciones a los padres de familia para prevenir el acoso cibernético a los estudiantes tras el inicio de las clases escolares a nivel nacional.

La entidad les recomienda que conversen con sus hijos sobre la privacidad de sus datos personales, guardar las pruebas en caso de acoso, pedir ayuda en caso de amenazas graves y conversar con un adulto en quien confíen como sus padres, abuelos o profesores. También se pide aconsejar a los menores a no compartir publicaciones en los que se hace ciberbullying a sus amigos o compañeros de clase.

El MINJUSDH remarca que podemos prevenir y combatir el acoso cibernético a los niños al enseñarles y aconsejarlos cómo usar las redes sociales. También se sugiere que padres e hijos conversen sobre la importancia de proteger los datos personales y configurar sus perfiles sociales como privados para que no sean observados o contactados por personas desconocidas.

En este sentido, la ANPD recomienda a los padres de familia instruir a sus hijos sobre la protección de su información digital con recomendaciones como navegar únicamente en sitios webs seguros y confiables, así como usar contraseñas diferentes para sus cuentas, cambiarlas con frecuencia y no compartirlas.

En el caso de computadoras de uso compartido, el MINJUSDH recomienda cerrar las sesiones de redes sociales y correo electrónico, además de evitar dejar fotos, videos u otros datos personales en esos dispositivos. Sobre el uso de cámaras web, se sugiere pensar bien con quién usarlas ya que muestra muchos detalles de su vida.

CONSEJOS A PADRES DE FAMILIA
La entidad recomienda a los padres de familia monitorear las redes sociales de sus hijos de manera continua, así como la información que comparten y a la que acceden. También se aconseja usar herramientas de control parental para menores en internet.

Finalmente, se les exhorta a no compartir fotografías o videos de los hijos que contengan datos como uniforme, insignia o fachada del colegio; la placa del vehículo o movilidad escolar; horarios de las actividades que realizan los menores; o imágenes de los niños o adolescentes en prendas íntimas o traje de baño.

In the case of shared computers, the MINJUSDH recommends logging out of social media and email accounts, and avoiding leaving photos, videos, or other personal data on these devices. Regarding the use of webcams, parents are advised to consider carefully who they use them with, as they reveal many details about their lives.

ADVICE FOR PARENTS
The agency recommends that parents continuously monitor their children’s social media accounts, as well as the information they share and access. Parental control tools for minors are also recommended.

Finally, parents are urged not to share photographs or videos of their children that contain information such as the school uniform, badge, or facade; the license plate of their vehicle or school bus; schedules of activities the children participate in; or images of children or adolescents in underwear or swimwear.
