Agradeció el respaldo recibido y subrayó que el proceso se ha sostenido en la escucha permanente al pueblo cusqueño. En un tono de prudencia, pidió cautela, paciencia y responsabilidad a la población, indicando que se debe esperar el cómputo oficial de resultados y, sobre todo, atender la voz de las trece provincias que conforman la circunscripción regional.
En ese sentido, la dirigente expresó su gratitud a quienes han depositado su confianza en el proyecto del Kintu (Propuesta política y de campaña), nombre con el que se identifica su movimiento político. Señaló que ese respaldo será correspondido con trabajo arduo y con el propósito central de reconstruir la confianza en la democracia y en las instituciones, que atraviesan un momento de evidente debilitamiento. El compromiso, afirmó, no se reduce a cumplir promesas, sino a devolverle a la ciudadanía la certeza de que la gestión pública existe para servirla.
De otro lado, de manera especial, se dirigió a quienes no la respaldaron en esta elección: a los que votaron por otras opciones, a los que emitieron voto en blanco y a quienes anularon su sufragio. Les aseguró que también tendrán su puerta abierta y su disposición para escuchar sus planteamientos, sus críticas y sus propuestas. Los invitó a dialogar para construir juntos las soluciones que el Cusco requiere, convencida de que la única vía para el progreso regional es la unidad de todos sus habitantes sin exclusión.

VERÓNIKA MENDOZA FRISCH
Verónika Fanny Mendoza Frisch nació el 9 de diciembre de 1980 en San Sebastián, Cusco. Es psicóloga, antropóloga y profesora formada en universidades de París. Fue congresista por el Cusco entre 2011 y 2016 y candidata presidencial en 2016 y 2021. Lideró el movimiento Nuevo Perú y se ha destacado por su defensa de la soberanía, la justicia social y los pueblos originarios. Con doble nacionalidad peruana y francesa, ha construido su trayectoria desde las bases populares. En las elecciones de octubre de 2026 resultó virtual gobernadora regional del Cusco por la alianza Venceremos. Su gestión se propone reconstruir la confianza en las instituciones y unir a las trece provincias del territorio.

She thanked the support received and emphasized that the process was sustained in permanent listening to the people of Cusco.
