POSICIONAMIENTO DEL PERÚ EN EL ESCENARIO INTERNACIONAL
El premier Arana resaltó la destacada participación de la presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, en la 80.ª Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas, celebrada en Nueva York, Estados Unidos. En este importante foro internacional, la mandataria peruana enfatizó la necesidad de fortalecer la democracia, tanto desde las instituciones del Estado como desde la activa participación de la ciudadanía. Su discurso resonó con fuerza en la comunidad internacional, reafirmando el compromiso del Perú con los valores democráticos y el Estado de derecho.
Además de su intervención en la Asamblea General, la visita a Nueva York brindó una plataforma invaluable para presentar la cartera de inversiones del Perú ante diversos foros internacionales. MINERÍA CON VALOR AGREGADO
Durante su participación en Perumin 37, el titular de la PCM reafirmó el compromiso del Gobierno con una minería que genere valor agregado para el país. “La política del Ejecutivo es promover una minería responsable que maximice el valor de los recursos extraídos, impulsando la industrialización y la diversificación económica”, afirmó. Esta visión estratégica busca transformar la minería en un motor de desarrollo sostenible, que genere empleo de calidad, impulse la innovación tecnológica y contribuya al bienestar de las comunidades locales.
En el marco de este importante evento minero, 24 empresas del sector se comprometieron formalmente a continuar apoyando el programa Jóvenes Productivos del Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo. Esta iniciativa permitirá que jóvenes talentos accedan a capacitación especializada y nuevas oportunidades laborales en el sector minero, contribuyendo a reducir la brecha de habilidades y promover la inclusión social.
DIÁLOGO CON EL ALCALDE DE LIMA METROPOLITANA
El jefe del Gabinete informó sobre la productiva reunión de trabajo sostenida con el alcalde de Lima Metropolitana, Rafael López Aliaga, y el ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, César Sandoval. El objetivo principal de este encuentro fue abordar aspectos cruciales relacionados con la implementación de proyectos ferroviarios en la capital. Se acordó que el tema continuará siendo objeto de análisis técnico exhaustivo, evitando cualquier tipo de politización que pueda obstaculizar su avance.
