La declaración se hizo al término de una extensa reunión de trabajo desarrollada en el Palacio de Gobierno, que contó con la participación de autoridades regionales, provinciales y distritales vinculadas al iniciativa, así como de miembros clave del gabinete y representantes del Congreso de la República.

“Mi voluntad política ya está expresada. En mi gobierno, antes de irme, la obra se va a iniciar y para eso tenemos comprometidos 600 millones de soles. La obra no se va a paralizar y va a continuar”, enfatizó el jefe de Estado, quien destacó que el proyecto va más allá de una simple infraestructura vial, al convertirse en un motor de desarrollo para múltiples regiones.

Durante el encuentro, que se extendió por las horas de la mañana y tarde, el Poder Ejecutivo fue más allá de garantizar el arranque de las obras, comprometiéndose a diseñar una solución integral para el proyecto que contemple no solo su puesta en marcha, sino también su ejecución y culminación en plazos acordados. En ese sentido, el mandatario anunció que antes de concluir su gestión se elaborará una propuesta de crédito suplementario que permitirá concretar la continuidad y finalización de la carretera, asegurando que la iniciativa no quede a medias con el cambio de administración.

El presidente Balcázar subrayó que el impacto de la Nueva Carretera Central “Daniel Alcides Carrión” trascenderá los límites de la región Junín y la Macrorregión Centro, donde se ubica gran parte de su recorrido. Según el jefe de Estado, la obra fortalecerá la conectividad entre regiones, dinamizará la actividad económica al facilitar el traslado de mercancías y personas, y mejorará la competitividad del Perú en el escenario nacional e internacional. “Hermanos de la Macrorregión Centro, mi voluntad política acaba de ser expresada y los 600 millones van y (la obra) se inicia con mi gobierno”, reiteró el mandatario en un tono contundente.

Entre los participantes destacados de la reunión se encontraban el segundo vicepresidente del Congreso de la República, Waldemar Cerrón Rojas; el gobernador regional de Junín, Zósimo Cárdenas Muje; la ministra de Economía y Finanzas, Denisse Miralles; y el ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Aldo Pietro, quienes aportaron visiones y compromisos desde sus respectivas áreas para asegurar el éxito del proyecto. La ministra Miralles señaló que los recursos asignados están garantizados en el presupuesto nacional, mientras que el ministro Pietro destacó que se están avanzando en los estudios técnicos y la planificación logística para el inicio oportuno de las obras.

El proyecto de la Nueva Carretera Central “Daniel Alcides Carrión” busca modernizar y ampliar la red vial del país, conectando la costa con la sierra central y facilitando el acceso a zonas estratégicas para la agricultura, minería y turismo. Su ejecución se espera que genere empleo directo e indirecto durante la construcción, así como impulsar el desarrollo económico de las localidades atravesadas por la ruta.

During the meeting, which extended through the morning and afternoon hours, the Executive Branch went further than guaranteeing the start of works, committing to design a comprehensive solution for the project that contemplates not only its launch but also its execution and completion within agreed deadlines. In this regard, the President announced that before the end of his administration, a supplementary credit proposal will be drawn up to ensure the continuity and completion of the highway, guaranteeing that the initiative will not be left unfinished with the change of administration.

President Balcázar emphasized that the impact of the New Central Highway “Daniel Alcides Carrión” will go beyond the borders of the Junín region and the Central Macroregion, where most of its route is located. According to the Head of State, the work will strengthen connectivity between regions, boost economic activity by facilitating the transportation of goods and people, and improve Peru’s competitiveness in the national and international arena. “Brothers of the Central Macroregion, my political will has just been expressed and the 600 million are allocated and (the works) will start during my administration,” the President reiterated in a firm tone.

Among the prominent participants in the meeting were the Second Vice President of the Congress of the Republic, Waldemar Cerrón Rojas; the Regional Governor of Junín, Zósimo Cárdenas Muje; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Denisse Miralles; and the Minister of Transportation and Communications, Aldo Pietro, who contributed insights and commitments from their respective areas to ensure the project’s success.
