Asimismo, desde el inicio de funciones de la Sunafil –en el 2014– se realizaron 62 mil 114 fiscalizaciones, siendo las materias más infraccionadas: incumplimientos en la gestión interna de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, en la identificación de peligros y evaluación de riesgos, en la formación e información sobre seguridad y salud en el trabajo y la dotación de equipos de protección personal.
También se ejecutaron 8 mil 794 inspecciones específicamente sobre accidentes de trabajo, donde el 96% fueron originadas por denuncias de los propios trabajadores, sus familiares o por los medios de comunicación y el 4% por operativos, es decir, fueron casos que se tomaron de oficio.
PREVENCIÓN
A fin de evitar accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades profesionales, como parte de la función preventiva de la Sunafil, se realizaron 33 mil 104 orientaciones en seguridad y salud en el trabajo desde el año 2014, lo que benefició a empleadores y trabajadores de todos los sectores económicos del país.
Esta información fue brindada por la Sunafil en el marco de la Semana y del Día Mundial de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, que se celebra en el Perú del 24 al 28 de abril de cada año.
ACTIVIDADES EN LA SEMANA DE LA SEGURIDAD Y SALUD EN EL TRABAJO
Este 25 de abril se dará inicio a la Semana de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo con el Seminario Nacional “Diálogo y desafíos para una cultura de prevención de riesgos laborales en el trabajo”, el cual está dirigido a trabajadores, empleadores, comités de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, organizaciones sindicales, organizaciones empresariales y público en general, para impulsar la cultura de seguridad y salud positiva. Para ello se contará con expertos en la materia y con un panel de profesionales, quienes disertarán sobre el tema y de cuyas conclusiones, se hará de conocimiento al Consejo Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo – CONSSAT.
Asimismo, el 26 y 27 de abril, se llevará a cabo el I Congreso Magistral “Investigación en materia de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo” en el Callao; y el 28 de abril se realizará el I Congreso Nacional de Comités de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, donde se impulsará el fortalecimiento de las capacidades de los comités paritarios.
