El jueves 13 de octubre en la mañana, en el marco del día central de la celebración del Día de la Persona con Discapacidad en el Perú, se desarrolló la entrega formal de las sillas de ruedas en un programa especial que incluyo la demostración de trabajos realizados en los talleres del instituto y también de las habilidades de los pacientes en los deportes y la danza.
Luis A. Zegarra Marcelo, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo, acompañado de Johel Valdivia, Gerente de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia, el Elder y la hermana Landon, Misioneros de Bienestar y Wilfredo Vilca Sotelo, Director de Comunicación en Chorrillos, realizo la entrega de la donación al M.C. Junnyor Rodríguez Recuay, Director General de la DIRIS Lima Sur, acompañado de la M.C. Lily Pinguz Vergara, Directora General del INR.
En la reunión se reconoció la participación de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en la importante labor de ayudar a los pacientes en su reinserción en la sociedad y se expresó gratitud por la donación recibida, indicando que la discapacidad no es otra cosa que la incapacidad de reconocer que se tiene habilidades diferentes y que el ser humano en escenarios adversos es capaz de superar las dificultades y mejor con la ayuda de manos solidarias bondadosas.

Adriana Rebaza Flores” in support of the care that the INR provides to patients who require physical and emotional rehabilitation at its premises located on Prolongación Defensores del Morro avenue in Chorrillos.
