Vásquez Chuquilín dio la bienvenida a los parlamentarios electos al curso de inducción, que permitirá optimizar el desempeño de sus funciones y de la producción legislativa.

“El presente curso de inducción al trabajo parlamentario tiene como finalidad que ustedes, colegas, se familiaricen mejor con el marco normativo y, especialmente, con los procesos institucionales vinculados al ejercicio de sus funciones, a fin de impactar positivamente en su desempeño y, por ende, mejorar el trabajo de legislación, fiscalización y representación que el pueblo os ha encomendado”, indicó.

El referido curso tiene como objetivo contribuir con la labor de los congresistas electos, brindándoles las pautas que requieren para el desempeño eficiente de su función, con la finalidad de reducir el tiempo de aprendizaje sobre su ejercicio, así como sobre el entorno institucional y organizativo en que se desarrollará.

En el curso, se abordarán temas relacionados con la estructura y organización parlamentaria, el estatuto de los congresistas, la función legislativa, la función de representación y el control parlamentario, además de la ética de la función pública y parlamentaria.

Las jornadas contarán con la participación de profesionales y especialistas del servicio parlamentario que se desempeñan en diferentes áreas del Congreso y tienen amplia experiencia en el asesoramiento técnico.

Asimismo, estarán presentes como expositores el contralor general de la República, Nelson Shack y la presidenta ejecutiva del Consejo Directivo de la Autoridad Nacional del Servicio Civil (Servir), Janeyri Elizabeth Boyer Carrera.

Tal como ha ocurrido en anteriores ediciones, estas jornadas se desarrollarán en privado, y debido a la declaratoria del estado de emergencia nacional por la pandemia de la COVID-19, se llevarán a cabo con las medidas de seguridad sanitaria respectivas, como el distanciamiento social y la ventilación natural, garantizadas en este recinto que tiene un área total de tres mil metros cuadrados aproximadamente.

Además, la organización ha previsto realizar pruebas de descarte de COVID-19 para todos los congresistas electos y al personal que participará en el evento, así como la utilización de equipos de protección personal y la permanente limpieza y desinfección de las zonas utilizadas.

The aforementioned course aims to contribute to the work of elected congressmen, providing them with the guidelines they require for the efficient performance of their function, in order to reduce the learning time on their exercise, as well as on the institutional and organizational environment in that will unfold.

The course will address issues related to the parliamentary structure and organization, the statute of congressmen, the legislative function, the representation function and parliamentary control, as well as the ethics of the public and parliamentary function.

The conference will feature the participation of professionals and specialists from the parliamentary service who work in different areas of the Congress and have extensive experience in technical advice.

Also present as speakers will be the comptroller general of the Republic, Nelson Shack and the executive president of the Board of Directors of the National Civil Service Authority (Servir), Janeyri Elizabeth Boyer Carrera.

As has happened in previous editions, these conferences will be held in private, and due to the declaration of the national state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they will be carried out with the respective health security measures, such as social distancing and natural ventilation, guaranteed in this enclosure that has a total area of ​​approximately three thousand square meters.

In addition, the organization has planned to carry out COVID-19 discard tests for all elected congressmen and staff who will participate in the event, as well as the use of personal protective equipment and the permanent cleaning and disinfection of the areas used.
