La ceremonia será transmitida, en directo y a nivel nacional, por TV Perú y el canal JNE TV. (canal 516 de Movistar TV) y las redes sociales del citado organismo electoral, desde el auditorio Los Incas del Ministerio de Cultura a las 16:00 horas.
La ceremonia, en la que también se entregará un documento similar a la vicepresidenta de la República Dina Boluarte Zegarra, la entrega de credenciales se realiza luego de que el último lunes 19 de julio, el JNE proclamara, en una sesión pública virtual, los resultados de cómputo de la segunda elección de presidente y vicepresidentes de la República, en el contexto de las Elecciones Generales 2021 (EG 2021).
El proceso electoral se llevó a cabo de manera transparente, eficiente y con estricto apego a la Constitución, la ley y reglamentos vigentes para tal efecto, tal como lo reconocen los informes de los observadores nacionales e internacionales que actuaron en los comicios; así como los gobiernos de otros países del mundo.
De esta manera, el pleno del JNE, presidido por Jorge Luis Salas Arenas, luego de cumplir a cabalidad sus funciones en el proceso electoral (fiscalización, educación, jurisdiccional, entre otras) realizará la citada entrega de credenciales, en conformidad con lo estipulado en la Constitución Política y en la Ley Orgánica del organismo electoral y bajo estrictas medidas de bioseguridad debido a la pandemia por el contagio de Covid-19.
