El grupo parlamentario Renovación Popular presentó esta noche (20:05 hora de Lima Perú), ante la Oficialía Mayor del Congreso de la República, su lista de candidatos a la Mesa Directiva para el periodo anual de sesiones 2021-2022.

La fórmula está integrada por el legislador Jorge Montoya Manrique, como aspirante a la Presidencia del Congreso; María Jáuregui Martínez de Aguayo, a la Primera vicepresidencia; Alejandro Muñante Barrios, a la Segunda Vicepresidencia, y Noelia Herrera Medina, a la Tercera Vicepresidencia del Parlamento.

La lista lleva la firma del también vocero de esa bancada, Jorge Montoya Manrique, quien dijo que su agrupación ha decidido participar en esta competencia a la Mesa Directiva “porque lo más importante es mantener la defensa de los principios y valores”.

“Somos un partido pro vida, pro paz, y con muchas ganas de concertar y encontrar el mejor camino para el Perú a futuro”, comentó en declaraciones al canal del Congreso de la República.

Hay que señalar que sobre Jorge Montoya Manrique, pesan serios cuestionamientos y denuncias de sedición al incentivar y fomentar un golpe militar en el país con el fin de evitar que el presidente electo del Perú, José Pedro Castillo Terrones juramente a la presidencia del país, y de aplaudir públicamente que el jefe y líder de su partido político Rafael López Aliaga manifestase la muerte al presidente Castillo Terrones con el fin de evitar su llegada al poder.

SOBRE LA ELECIÓN DE LA MESA DIRECTIVA CONGRESO
La sesión de elección de la Mesa Directiva del Congreso para el periodo anual de sesiones 2021- 2022 ha sido convocada para el lunes 26 de julio de 2021, a las 08:00 horas.

Según el artículo 12 del Reglamento del Congreso, serán proclamados “miembros electos de la Mesa Directiva a los candidatos de la lista que hayan logrado obtener un número de votos igual o superior a la mayoría simple de congresistas concurrentes”.

También señala que “si ninguna lista obtiene mayoría simple, se efectuará siguiendo el mismo procedimiento, una segunda votación entre las dos listas con mayor número de votos, proclamándose a los candidatos de la lista que obtenga mayor votación”.

The election session of the Board of Directors of Congress for the annual period of sessions 2021-2022 has been called for Monday, July 26, 2021, at 08:00 hours.

According to article 12 of the Congress Regulations, the candidates on the list who have managed to obtain a number of votes equal to or greater than the simple majority of concurrent congressmen will be proclaimed “elected members of the Board of Directors.”

It also states that “if no list obtains a simple majority, it will be carried out following the same procedure, a second vote between the two lists with the highest number of votes, proclaiming the candidates from the list with the highest vote.”
