En la ceremonia por el 85 aniversario de la institución que se desarrolló en la sede central, precisó que en esta nueva etapa, EsSalud trabajará de la mano con el Ministerio de Salud, la Sanidad de las Fuerzas Armadas y otros organismos que conforman el sistema de salud para fortalecer la respuesta del estado frente a la emergencia sanitaria por el coronavirus a través del intercambio de servicios en los establecimientos de las diferentes regiones.
“Seremos una institución que suma esfuerzos para que ningún peruano quede fuera de la cobertura de salud. Es un compromiso que asumo, porque ese es el norte de seguridad y justicia social, acorde con el propósito establecido por el Presidente de la Republica, Prof. Pedro Castillo Terrones”, expresó.
De otro lado, Carhuapoma Yance se refirió a los presuntos actos de corrupción en la institución denunciados en las últimas semanas, al señalar enfáticamente que no le temblará la mano para separar a aquellos trabajadores que tengan alguna responsabilidad en actos deshonestos.
Garantizó que su gestión trabajará con eficiencia en el gasto de los recursos financieros para invertirlos en beneficio de los más de 11 millones de asegurados y la población que lo requiera.
Respecto a la llegada de la tercera ola por el nuevo coronavirus , Carhuapoma Yance señaló que EsSalud reforzará la oferta hospitalaria, potenciará los recursos humanos e implementará un plan para concluir, sin demoras, el proceso de vacunación contra el Covid-19 a nuestros asegurados. Destacó la importancia de conservar la salud mental y repotenciar la atención primaria así como fortalecer la inmunonutrición para disminuir la cifra de contagios.
HOMENAJE A LAS VÍCTIMAS
La ceremonia por el 85 aniversario de EsSalud se inició con un minuto de silencio en homenaje a los profesionales y técnicos de la salud que, en esta dura lucha contra la pandemia del Covid-19, sacrificaron sus vidas para salvar a cientos de peruanos afectados por el mortal virus.
La conmemoración institucional tiene como referente histórico el 12 de agosto de 1936, un día como hoy , en que se promulgó la Ley N° 8433, que crea el Seguro Social Obrero Obligatorio y la Caja Nacional del Seguro Social.
El acto contó con la presencia de la vicepresidenta de la República y titular del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte , el ministro de Salud, Hernando Cevallos, y del Ambiente, Rubén Ramírez, así como congresistas, representantes de gremios sindicales, cuerpo médico, embajadores, funcionarios, profesionales de la salud y trabajadores de EsSalud, entre otros invitados.

He stressed the importance of preserving mental health and repowering primary care as well as strengthening immunonutrition to reduce the number of infections.
TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS
The ceremony for the 85th anniversary of EsSalud began with a minute of silence in tribute to health professionals and technicians who, in this tough fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, sacrificed their lives to save hundreds of Peruvians affected by the deadly virus.
The institutional commemoration has as a historical reference August 12, 1936, a day like today, when Law No. 8433 was enacted, creating the Obligatory Labor Social Security and the National Social Security Fund.
The event was attended by the Vice President of the Republic and head of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte, the Minister of Health, Hernando Cevallos, and the Environment, Rubén Ramírez, as well as congressmen, representatives of trade unions, body doctor, ambassadors, officials, health professionals and EsSalud workers, among other guests.
