Durante su intervención, el mandatario aseguró que en su gobierno siempre encontrarán la mejor predisposición para dialogar y buscar propuestas y soluciones en los temas más prioritarios del país, como la pandemia de la COVID-19, la salud, la educación y el empleo.
“Estoy convencido que el diálogo que hoy iniciamos será el primero de los muchos que tendremos y sostendremos durante este gobierno, para concretar no solo el entendimiento, sino que sabremos solucionar los grandes problemas y necesidades que tiene el país, en un contexto de la pandemia que sigue golpeando a nuestra población, especialmente a los más necesitados”, manifestó.
“Tenemos un gran reto, para ello necesitamos hacer un trabajo coordinado. Precisamente, en la agenda de hoy vamos a trabajar parte de esos temas prioritarios, como la salud, la educación, la lucha contra la pobreza y la pobreza extrema, el crecimiento económico, la generación de empleo digno que es lo que tanto reclama la población”, anotó desde el Gran Comedor de Palacio de Gobierno.
TRABAJEMOS POR LA GOBERNABILIDAD DEL PAÍS
El jefe del Estado sostuvo que “hoy debemos asumir un compromiso de trabajar juntos en una sola dirección, trabajemos por la gobernabilidad, por aquellos que históricamente han sido marginados”.
El Perú espera que sus autoridades y representantes dejen de lado sus intereses e ideologías particulares y que pongan el hombro para salir de la pandemia y lograr la reactivación económica, subrayó.
Enfatizó que ha llegado el momento de la unidad más amplia del país y que en ese marco es importante fortalecer las instituciones y concretar como Estado, en bien de todos los peruanos y peruanas.
El presidente Castillo consideró también que los poderes del Estado son del pueblo y tienen que servir al pueblo.
“No son poderes para que se empoderen otras cosas. Por nuestra parte, no vamos a deslegitimar a nadie, no está en nuestro plan otros intereses, sino los intereses del país, como hoy lo estamos demostrando”, remarcó.
En el curso de la sesión se presentaron los “Consensos por el Perú”, considerados por el Acuerdo Nacional como lineamientos prioritarios para el corto y mediano plazo en los temas de salud, educación, lucha contra la pobreza y pobreza Extrema, crecimiento económico sostenible con empleo digno, reforma política y reforma del Sistema de Administración de Justicia.
El secretario ejecutivo del Acuerdo Nacional, Max Hernández, entregó tales consensos al mandatario y a la presidenta del Congreso de la República, María del Carmen Alva, quien también participó en la sesión, al igual que el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Guido Bellido.
En otro momento, el mandatario refirió que en sesiones anteriores del Acuerdo Nacional también se abordaron temas referidos a la salud, a la educación y al empleo, lo cual refleja que las autoridades y los representantes de los partidos políticos y de las instituciones que lo integran siempre han estado en constante inquietud y preocupación por ver los grandes problemas del país.
Al referir que desde el interior del país escuchaba, mediante los medios de comunicación, cómo se desarrollaba el trabajo del Acuerdo Nacional, planteó realizar sesiones de este foro en diversas regiones del Perú.
“Los invito para que las sesiones del Acuerdo Nacional ya no las hagamos a puerta cerrada, sino en algún espacio del país abiertamente a la población, por ejemplo, una reunión en cada macrorregión del Perú”, señaló.
Además de las instituciones que integran el Acuerdo Nacional, en la sesión participaron representantes de organismos constitucionalmente autónomos, ministros de Estado y gobernadores regionales. Por razones de seguridad sanitaria, parte de ellos lo hizo de manera virtual.
