El mandatario llegó esta mañana a la Ciudad Heroica para participar en diversos actos conmemorativos por el 92 aniversario de la reincorporación de Tacna a la Heredad Nacional, acompañado por la primera dama, Lilia Paredes; el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Guido Bellido; y los ministros de Relaciones Exteriores, Óscar Maúrtua; de Defensa, Walter Ayala; de la Mujer, Anahí Durand; de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Juan Silva; y de Cultura, Ciro Gálvez.

“No nos casaremos con nadie, con ningún chantaje. Tenemos que recuperar la patria y para eso hemos venido. Ningún corrupto ni los deudores a la patria nos van a poner la agenda. La agenda la pondrá el pueblo, Tacna y todos los pueblos del país”, aseguró el presidente Castillo al dirigirse a numerosos ciudadanos desde el balcón del expalacio municipal, ubicado en el centro de la ciudad.

“Vamos a cobrar las cuentas de los corruptos y de los deudores a la patria, para darle agua, salud y educación a los pueblos del país”, afirmó y subrayó que “no tenemos experiencia en robar, pero sí en dedicar nuestro tiempo a los jóvenes, a los niños y niñas, a los hermanos ambulantes, comerciantes, los desocupados, los obreros, los agricultores”.

El jefe del Estado instó a los ciudadanos a denunciar cualquier indicio de corrupción y, en ese sentido, pidió a la población que se organice para fiscalizar los recursos económicos que se distribuirán a los pueblos del país, en el marco de la verdadera descentralización que su gestión llevará a cabo.

“Vamos a reactivar la economía, empezando por Tacna; vamos a dar los presupuestos para esa vía tan anhelada para la integración y también para asumir, de una vez por todas, el costo del gas, del aceite, del pan. Tengan fe en este gobierno, que de eso nos encargamos nosotros”, manifestó.

LUCHA CONTRA LA CORRUPCIÓN
En Tacna, el jefe del Estado participó en el izamiento del sagrado pabellón nacional por damas tacneñas, que se realizó en el Paseo Cívico de la ciudad. Durante su discurso, enfatizó que “no cesará nuestra lucha por ver que el pueblo peruano recobre su dignidad, no cesará nuestra lucha contra la corrupción, el narcotráfico y las grandes desigualdades”.

Sostuvo que hoy corresponde construir un nuevo país aprovechando las lecciones del pasado, pues estamos en la obligación de superar el legado de nuestros antepasados y edificar una gran nación, en la cual todos tienen que ser tratados por igual.

Al remarcar que su gestión apoyará decididamente la reactivación económica de los agricultores, de los comerciantes, sin descuidar el apoyo a la salud y a la educación, afirmó que los tacneños pueden estar seguros de que su gobierno los apoyará a mejorar su región, pues “somos conscientes de los anhelos de este pueblo y de la zona sur de nuestro suelo patrio”.

En Tacna, el presidente Castillo también encabezó, junto al alcalde provincial, Julio Medina, la sesión solemne por el aniversario citado en el Teatro Municipal. Asimismo, participó en la ceremonia en homenaje a la mujer tacneña, que se realizó en la plaza 28 de agosto; y en el acto de reconocimiento de personalidades meritorias de la cultura de Tacna, que organizó el Ministerio de Cultura en la Casa Museo Basadre.

FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION
In Tacna, the Head of State participated in the raising of the sacred national flag by Tacna ladies, which was held on the city’s Civic Walk. During his speech, he emphasized that “our struggle to see that the Peruvian people regain their dignity will not cease, our struggle against corruption, drug trafficking and great inequalities will not cease.”

He argued that today it is necessary to build a new country taking advantage of the lessons of the past, since we are obliged to overcome the legacy of our ancestors and build a great nation, in which everyone must be treated equally.

Remarking that his administration will decisively support the economic reactivation of farmers and merchants, without neglecting support for health and education, he affirmed that the people of Tacne can be sure that their government will support them to improve their region, because “we are aware of the wishes of this people and the southern area of ​​our homeland ”.

In Tacna, President Castillo also led, together with the provincial mayor, Julio Medina, the solemn session for the aforementioned anniversary at the Municipal Theater. Likewise, he participated in the ceremony in tribute to the woman from Tacna, which was held in the plaza on August 28; and in the act of recognition of worthy personalities of the culture of Tacna, organized by the Ministry of Culture at the Basadre House Museum.
