Along these lines, he indicated that both in Tacna and in Tumbes, citizens demand to open the borders to develop their activities and specified that “we are going to do so to the extent that we guarantee that the towns are vaccinated.”

At another time, he made a call to citizens to act calmly and coldly, saying that things are better done thinking that way.

“We summon the broadest unit of the people so that, as well as the vaccine is guaranteed, not only governability is guaranteed, but also that we all get involved with democracy,” said the president, who was accompanied by his wife Lilia Paredes.

President Castillo and the first lady were inoculated this afternoon at the vaccination center installed in the Huiracocha Zonal Park, in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, which is one of the 28 places that are part of the vaccination that began today in Metropolitan Lima and Callao and will culminate tomorrow, Sunday, at seven o’clock at night, as the presidential couple remembered had received the first dose of Sinopharm on August 6, in the same place.
