Terminal Internacional del Sur (Tisur) recibe Premio Marítimo de las Américas 2021 de la OEA.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe La Secretaría de la Comisión Interamericana de Puertos de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) reconoció al Terminal Internacional del Sur (Tisur) con el Premio Marítimo de las Américas 2021 “Gestión portuaria integral para el desarrollo socioeconómico de las Américas”, en la categoría Relación Puerto-Ciudad.

Este galardón se entrega en reconocimiento al continuo esfuerzo de TISUR, operador del Terminal Portuario de Matarani, por lograr el desarrollo de la comunidad aledaña y mantener la continuidad de sus operaciones.

Para conseguir ese propósito se ha implementado estrategias y proyectos como el Plan de Gestión Social, el cual es un instrumento orientador para crear espacios de interacción y articulación entre los actores comprometidos.

Este plan contribuye con el desarrollo sostenible y mejora la calidad de vida de la comunidad de la provincia de Islay, a través de actividades y programas de responsabilidad social en los ejes de salud, educación, bienestar social e infraestructura. El puerto proporciona a la ciudad beneficios sociales y desarrollo económico.

Asimismo, el Comité del Jurado del Premio Internacional ha otorgado una mención honorífica a APM Terminals Callao, operador del Terminal Norte Multipropósito del puerto del Callao, en la misma categoría de Relación Puerto Ciudad, por su Programa de Sostenibilidad y Responsabilidad Social, implementado en beneficio de la comunidad de la provincia constitucional del Callao.

En esta séptima edición del Premio Marítimo de las Américas, se presentaron más de 30 postulaciones del más alto nivel provenientes de ocho países.

La Autoridad Portuaria Nacional (APN), entidad adscrita al Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, saluda la distinción recibida por ambos terminales portuarios y reconoce su liderazgo y compromiso en pro del desarrollo integral del sector marítimo-portuario, competitivo, sostenible, seguro y socialmente responsable.
