Es así que la congresista Karol Paredes Fonseca (AP) fue elegida presidenta de la Comisión de Ética Parlamentaria, la acompañarán en la vicepresidencia y secretaría, respectivamente, los legisladores María Agüero Gutiérrez (PL) y Diego Bazán Calderón (Avanza País).
La lista única fue propuesta por la legisladora Ruth Luque Ibarra (JPP) obtuvo el respaldo de quince votos, y hubo dos abstenciones.
La sesión de instalación se inició bajo la dirección del coordinador de instalación de dicho grupo de trabajo el legislador Carlos Anderson Ramírez, en la sala Miguel Grau Seminario del palacio legislativo.
LAS COMISIONES EN EL CONGRESO
Las comisiones en el parlamento peruano son las encargadas del estudio y dictamen de los asuntos ordinarios de la agenda del Congreso, con prioridad en la función legislativa y de fiscalización. El Presidente del Congreso, en coordinación con los Grupos Parlamentarios o previa consulta al Consejo Directivo del Congreso, propone el número de Comisiones Ordinarias teniendo en cuenta la estructura del Estado.
COMISIÓN DE ÉTICA PARLAMENTARIA
La Comisión de Ética Parlamentaria es el grupo de trabajo especializado de Congresistas en materia de ética que forma parte de la organización parlamentaria, tiene por objeto velar por cumplimiento de las normas, principios de la ética parlamentaria, la probidad y la transparencia en los actos y acciones de los parlamentarios.
Asimismo, cumple con establecer acciones complementarias que coadyuven a prevenir actos que contravengan la ética parlamentaria, pretende preservar la imagen que el Congreso debe tener ante el país y asegura la transparencia en la administración de los fondos públicos que le son confiados.
