La entrega formal de la donación consistente en 44 bancas de madera, luminarias y otros enseres en el centro de reuniones de la Iglesia de Jesucristo ubicado en la calle Piura del barrio Cesar Pinglo en el distrito de la Unión se realizó el último martes 14 de setiembre en horas de la mañana.
Enrique León Elías, Líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Piura y Juan Antón Tume, líder de la Iglesia en la Unión efectuaron la entrega de la donación a Maritza Mogollón, encargada de la dirección de la Institución Educativa Nº 139 de La Unión con la asistencia de la Asociación de Padres de Familia – APAFA, quienes se mostraron agradecidos por la donación.
León Elías manifestó que la ayuda de los miembros de la Iglesia a través de sus ofrendas hacen posible llevar bienestar a las personas necesitadas como lo enseñó Jesucristo y Juan Antón mencionó que la Iglesia no solo ayuda a sus miembros sino también a aquellos que no son miembros de la Iglesia.
La profesora Maritza Mogollón, muy emocionada agradeció la donación por que servirá para mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza a los alumnos quienes a su regreso a clases encontrarán un mejor ambiente para estudiar.
Luego en el centro de reuniones de la Iglesia ubicado en la Prolongación Grau de la ciudad de Piura se entregó artículos de cocina, juegos de sala, sillones, una secadora de ropa, una congeladora, frazadas, edredones y otros artículos a la Casa Refugio Mujer Dignidad, Vida Nueva que alberga a personas víctimas afectadas por hechos de violencia familiar que se encuentran en condición de abandono o en riesgo social y al Hogar Anita Goulden una institución dedicada al ciudad de niños y adolescentes que sufren de discapacidad y parálisis cerebral que debido a lo costoso de su tratamiento viven allí porque provienen de hogares de escasos recursos.
Recibieron las donaciones Cesar Gibes Gonzales en representación de la Beneficencia de Piura y Roxana Laban Arrieta administradora del Hogar Anita Goulden. Efectuó las entregas Eduardo Ganoza Orezzoli acompañado de Patricia Cáceres de Bustamante, Directora de Comunicación de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Piura.
Los representantes de las instituciones agradecieron a la iglesia de Jesucristo indicando que los muebles y enseres les permitirán realizar una mejor atención en sus respectivas instituciones y Eduardo Ganoza menciono que gracias a las ofrendas de los miembros de la Iglesia se podía brindar esa ayuda a la comunidad piurana.
