Ello tras una reunión sostenida por el primer ministro, Guido Bellido, con los representantes de la Organización Regional de Pueblos Indígenas de la Selva (ARPI), base de la Asociación Interétnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana (Aidesep).
El objetivo de este encuentro fue escuchar las demandas de este grupo de la población sobre temas de salud, educación y saneamiento. Estuvieron presentes el vicepresidente de la ARPI, Germán López, junto a los representantes de organizaciones como CARE, Aidesep y CECONSSEC. Además, participaron funcionarios de los ministerios de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Cultura, Educación, Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Salud, además de la Secretaría de Demarcación y Organización Territorial de la PCM.
Como resultado de esta mesa de trabajo, el primer ministro se comprometió a participar en las reuniones técnicas que se llevarán a cabo en la provincia de Satipo, en el departamento de Junín, para analizar y atender las necesidades de los pueblos indígenas de la selva central.
Asimismo, se informó que estas reuniones tendrán lugar los días 14 y 15 de octubre de este año. Por acuerdo establecido en el acta de la reunión, el Ministerio de Cultura coordinará con los distintos ministerios y organizaciones indígenas la organización y el desarrollo de estas jornadas.
Por su parte, Guido Bellido expresó su compromiso para escuchar la problemática de las distintas comunidades a nivel nacional, con el fin de buscar una solución articulada a sus demandas.
