Asimismo, mediante Resolución Ministerial Nº 178-2021-TR, el sector Trabajo transfirió a EsSalud 92 millones 477 mil 117 soles para la continuidad operativa del Centro de Atención y Aislamiento Temporal (CAAT) de la Villa Panamericana donde reciben tratamiento personas aseguradas y no aseguradas afectadas con el SARS-CoV-2 o sospechosas de tener el virus.
Desde su puesta en funcionamiento, a fines de marzo de 2020, la Villa Panamericana, ubicada en Villa El Salvador, ha salvado la vida de más de 30 mil personas que vencieron el Covid-19 y retornaron a casa gracias a la atención recibida por personal de salud especializado.
