En su intervención la autoridad regional refirió que esta obra que se viene encaminando tiene por objetivo fortalecer el deporte en la población ayacuchana sin distinción de edad, porque invertir en infraestructura deportiva, es garantizar familias saludables, a través del fomento de la práctica de diversas disciplinas deportivas.

Rua Carbajal también remarcó que se viene preparando la construcción de la infraestructura deportiva en el marco de los preparativos para los Juegos Bolivarianos “Ayacucho para Todos 2024”, el cual se realizará en el bicentenario de la Batalla de Ayacucho.

“Próximos a celebrar el bicentenario de la Batalla de Ayacucho venimos encaminando este importante proyecto, un compromiso sumido en la Agenda Provincial Huamanga, que permitirá contar con modernas infraestructuras deportivas ideales para realizar y organizar eventos de alta competencia como los Juegos Bolivarianos Ayacucho Para Todos 2024”, remarcó la autoridad regional.

A su intervención el presidente del Instituto Peruano del Deporte-IPD, Julio César Rivera Gonzáles, expresó el compromiso de trabajo para con las autoridades y población ayacuchana, a fin de hacer realidad este anhelado proyecto deportivo.

“Reciban un afectuoso saludo y ratifico mi compromiso de hacer realidad este anhelado proyecto. Vamos a trabajar juntos con las regiones para brindar mejores infraestructuras y espacios para nuestros deportistas de Ayacucho y de las regiones del país. Debemos ser buenos anfitriones en los próximos Juegos Bolivarianos 2024, tienen todo mi apoyo y voy a demostrar que puedo hacer una buena gestión al frente de esta importante institución”, señaló Rivera Gonzáles.

Según precisó el gerente de Infraestructura, Feliz Huamán Mejía, la obra cumple con los requisitos deportivos, el cual contempla los siguientes componentes: Ampliación de las tribunas norte sur oriente y occidente, techado de las 04 tribunas, construcción del albergue del Centro de Formación de Deportes, construcción del Coliseo Cerrado, mejoramiento y ampliación de la pista atlética, construcción de ambientes para las ligas deportivas, construcción de piscina olímpica, construcción de losas deportivas multiusos: vóley, básquet, etc.
